A very nice spot - especially for families! Pitches for caravans/RV are pretty nice but can get a bit muddy.
It is a very large complex but staff still are very nice and familiar.
Pool area and kids entertainment are top notch.
On-site restaurants are also pretty decent - but no dishes are served with sauce, very strange.
Camper service included except black water - they have the machines which cost just €2 so I’ll gladly pay that to not have to risk having splash on me.

We were 13 people in the Lake Garda holiday homes, ages 2 - 87. We all had an amazing time. The beach; the swimming pools; the activities; the playgrounds were all wonderful. The whole area was kept very clean and tidy at all times. Even the small homes were great; very well-designed. Really recommended.

Visited San Francesco for the second year in a row. First time three nights, second time 7 nights. The site as a whole is very well maintained and hygienic. We stayed in the yellow are which was magic. At first we got a spot next to the garbage dump, but we were able to upgrade it fortunately.

Easy going and friendly staff and close to Sirmione for exploring.

Seven night was too long for us, we got a little restless. I would say 3, maybe 4, nights is the sweet spot. But it’s a personality thing I guess.

A really good campsite, though a little pricey to be honest.

The only minus is the pool temperature, it was really cold.

A message to all Italy. Support your women’s football! During our time it was European championship for women. Italy participated. But it was very hard finding a place that showed the games, most people didn’t even know it was an ongoing event.

Just returned from a 10 day stay in a Family Mobile Home. Could not recommend this campsite more. Caravans are small but spotless and nicely mapped out. Our kids loved them. The campsite as a whole is so well kept and extremely clean. Pools are excellent for young ones and never seemed overly busy - finding a bed at any time of the day was no issue. Entertainment team were amazing. Our kids loved the weekly musical shows that were performed by the kids and entertainment teams. We ate out every night at different places around the lake but one of the best meals we had was in the campsite restaurant. Bakery in the shop was top notch. Chocolate croissants are a must. All in all a top holiday had by all and will definitely be returning.

Nice site right on the lake. Great restaurant with fair prices and friendly staff. Pitches get a bit muddy with any rain but on the whole all good. The dog exercise area is a great thought and they even have a dedicated sun bathing area for you and your furry friends next to the swimming pool. A special mention must go to Valerie who checked us in with a whole host of information and every time we saw her was always happy to have a chat and always had a smile on her face.

The campsite is the best we’ve ever been to. We’re motorhomers & have travelled visited the U.K., France, Portugal, Spain & now here in Italy. The facilities are 2nd to none, they are spotless. The receptionists are so helpful, it’s why we extended a further 2wks

This is a fabulous campsite and, oddly, not expensive! It is really pretty with lots of trees. We were there in a motorhome. The views of the lake and mountains are magnificent and the sunsets are incredible. The pitches are big and there are loads of them. In busy seasons, arrive early to avoid sloping pitches! The washroom facilities are huge, modern and very clean. The restaurant and shop are brilliant. Our lady on reception was delightful and so helpful. The young men on reception at a different time, less so!! Highly recommended. We can't wait to return.

Staying at the San Francesco Camping Village was mostly a good experience. The people at the reception were very nice and polite. Their English was good, so we had no problem understanding each other. The mobile house was very nice and seemed clean. The only problem was that we found a spider underneath the sheets in the master bedroom. We also didn’t know that there were no actual blankets. We knew we had to bring our own sheets, but we didn’t know there would be only pillows available. Thankfully it was hot enough at night that we weren’t cold. Another good thing was also that there were nets on windows so we didn’t have to worry about bugs getting into our home. One other thing that was bugging us was the locking mechanism on the door, since it was always giving us problems while we tried to lock up. There were chairs and a table outside and the ambient in the camp was quite nice. Nights were mostly quiet, we only got woken up once by some really loud cleaning ladies. Even though the camp had a lot to offer we didn’t really explore much - we saw the beach and the store, which were both great. And not far from there was the bus station which was perfect if you want to visit Sirmione city without having to deal with parking.

Our experience at this site was not positive. Great area although local bar prices are expensive. Welcoming staff were robotic, no smiles or friendly welcome. The restaurant staff where the same, seems no one likes their job and just getting through the day. On a positive note the facilities were great and the restaurant food was very good. We won’t return due to lack of friendly atmosphere.

We recently stayed in San Francesco Camping Village and had the most amazing holiday. It was a Family holiday with our 2 boys aged 10 & 4. We flew into Milan and booked a transfer from the airport. Our flight was at night and reception was closed. The Night Porter was ready for our arrival and gave us our access bands and keys and then we checked in properly in the morning. We booked a mobile called Trendy Suite. It’s situated right beside the pool and the stage for the night time entertainment. Which was perfect for us because the boys loved going to the shows at night but if you had young kids that need to be sleeping before 11pm then I wouldn’t recommend this area as it’s loud when the show is on. The mobile was so clean and the air conditioning was brilliant as there was a heatwave. The pool was so nice it’s really clean and it’s manned by 2-3 lifeguards. We didn’t use the mini club but the kids doing it looked to be having a great time. The Market has the nicest fresh bread in their bakery that I have ever tasted!! There’s a Cash and Carry about 10 min walk away which is really good. The food in the restaurant/ takeaway is really good and reasonably priced. Every staff member we came into contact with were so nice and happy help. Taxi’s we’re hard to get - could have been a busy time of the year so I would recommend booking the day before if you are heading out. We booked a taxi to Gardaland for €50 each way for 4 of us. This was my first experience of a Camping style holiday and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had as a Family. I would highly recommend staying here it’s so beautiful, clean and friendly staff.
