Albergo le Giraffe in Marina di Pietrasanta

Con: the internet was horrible. Without exaggeration I would be so frequently logged out that in a day I would log in maybe 15 times. The speed was very slow and sometimes would go for a long time without any internet access. This was hard for me as i was not a local and needed the internet to just plan, explore and visit some of my surroundings spontaneously. I don’t speak Italian so it was harder for me to try communicate in or learn Italian.

Pros: staff are amazing. They do more than they should. They are amazing with the children. I was happy with the meals as well. The location is great, so close to the beach and activities for children was nearby as well.

I could have given this place a 5 but the internet was the most difficult thing for me. They said they set it up like that to discourage many people from logging into the internet; but I feel like if that is the case then they should mention this on their website to cater for guests who may not need the internet.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and convenient location, just a 2-3 minute walk from the private beach. Free parking and free bikes are available. The rooms are simple, very clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The food was delicious!! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming... from the waiters to the floor staff to the owner, all wonderful people. We felt right at home.

I've been a guest at Albergo Le Giraffe for many years. The hotel is family-run, which is probably why it's not listed on the major travel portals. Sabrina and Marco primarily cater to Italian guests at Albergo Le Giraffe, but many Swiss also stay there. The staff knows you personally and is always very friendly. The food is good, and the rooms are clean. Furthermore, Albergo Le Giraffe offers special packages that include a beach umbrella. This is ideal for families, especially since the beach is just a short walk away. The hotel's Wi-Fi, which used to be a disaster, has finally become stable this year (2025) and works perfectly.

Simple and clean rooms, free bikes available, and parking included in the price.
All good, but I have to make one point: breakfast at 8:30 is fine, but at least remove the leftovers from the previous dinner. I had breakfast with half a bottle of wine on the table.
Maybe keep some plant-based milk.
Overall, a good hotel.

Everything OK. Clean and tidy hotel, we chose full board and excellent service. 200 meters from a splendid bathroom with swimming pool that has an agreement with the hotel.

Impeccable service, large and clean room, super friendly and dynamic staff!
Loan of bike at any time of the day for superb walks, hotel very well placed on the edge of the seaside resort Pietrasanta!
The catering service at the top, in short everything was perfect.
