I can think of two types of people who dislike this place. Either you came here with really messed up expectations, or you’re really a bitter person. Anyway, for the rest of us, this place is amazing. The beach is perfect, the food is really good, clean rooms and Martina is the greatest host. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Pure Paradise. I can't imagine a better place for holidays. We spent in the Residence just three nights, but I will remember it for a long time. Martina and Michele are great hosts - they cared for us like we were family. They made Calabrian food for us and offered their help when we needed it. The Residence is pure gold - one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen with a charming back and front yard. Very nice beach, with a great view of Stromboli, close to Michellino Spiaggia (5 minutes by car).
The only note for wifi and the reception - could have been a bit better.

Welcome to Parafiso. Family-run villa with 8 rooms in all splendid furnishings and outdoor spaces that directly overlook the beach, private and with umbrellas, within an exclusive and very quiet residential co text. Very kind and friendly staff, you can have lunch and dinner with dishes chosen day by day in agreement with customers. A fairy tale!!!!

It is a family-run private villa with a small number of guests, so tranquility and privacy are assured. The beach in front is for the exclusive use of the villa of the adjacent luxury hotel so no confusion.
The simple but refined cuisine changes every day as requested by the guests.
To be hypercritical, one could make a note of the dimly lit room furnished in a classic style, refined but not very practical for holiday use.

First on how to get there: The Hotel is Part of a closed compound called Porto Pirgos, which has it's main gate on the SS522. In order to enter you need the gate Guardian to be there. Mind though there is an excessive lunch break, so expect to come between 09:00-11:00 or 15:00 - 19:00. Other then that you can try to enter it the passenger gate is open and open the car gate with the photocell from the inside, no one cares... Then drive to your left further down and take the last turn right before you reach the beach. The Hotel itself may not be 100%up to date in terms of furniture, but for southernn Italy it is clean and bathrooms work nicely. What is really auto using is the bali like terraces with chill out areas all over to watch a marvelous sunset! Food is ridiculously good especial Frutti Di mare antipasti. You have a private beach with crystal clear water. This is definetly a hidden gem, could have stayed there forever.
