A superb place in the old town, so yes it's steep and it's not accessible to everyone but if you have the opportunity to go, go for it! .

This is a characterful B&B - beautifully restored in an ancient cliff-side quarter of the town. You'll need to be ok with climbing stairs but if that's no issue this is a wonderful place to spend some time. Claudio the host is most welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful apartment with lots of character, right in the heart of Ventimiglia Alta. Very friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Me and my boyfriend had an absolute blast at La Terrazza di Vico Olivi B & B. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Ventimiglia. It is beautiful, cleanly, and central to Old Town and walkable to all the other attractions. The daily breakfast is delicious and on a gorgeous terrace. Alamed, our host, was incredibly kind and accommodating. The view is unreal and it is a great price. Thank you so much to Alamed and La Terrazza di Vico Olivi for having us!

The first impresion of a dump down an alley was not improved as time went on. A One bedroom apartment cunningly spread over 5 floors, with such amenities as a quaint display of empty cologne bottles in the bathroom, no soaps, and a bedroom that i suspect was a retired pizza oven. If you do visit ventimiglia, (and the old town on top of the hill is a charming place, even if it is a bit unkempt) then it helps to know of the public elevator in the tunnel between the town and the port... this saves some distressing hill-climbing. It would also have helped if they hadnt tried to collect again the room tariff, which we had already paid via *******. There is a fairly modern looking hotel in the port area.. i wish we had stayed there instead.

I hope that many people can read this comment to take it into consideration before booking. The owner is a ******. So if you are not Italian, you are not welcome in this place, you should know that because I have been told so. Basically, I had my reservation made and he called me to confirm my arrival time. After a completely normal call, the man (Claudio) called me back, by mistake, and he started to criticise me, apparently the man hates people who speak Spanish, so he decided that I was a, quote, "South American cretin", funny Claudio's ignorance, as I am Spanish. But anyway, that's obviously the least of it, I don't understand how a ****** and incompetent person like him can have or work in a public-facing place that is surely full of "non-Italian" people who come to visit his town... Anyway, worst experience ever. Please go somewhere else and don’t give a penny to someone like that. Raquel

Adorable B&B perfectly located in Old Town.
I absolutely loved the La Terrazza di Vico Olivi B&B! My room was a little apartment with everything that I needed.
The B&B was centrally located to everything, and Allamen(?), the young man that took care of me, was a sweetie. Breakfast was delicious, and on-time every morning. The Old Town surrounding the B&B is charming.
I would highly recommend. My only warning would be if you have problems navigating stairs, this may be a no-go. There are pretty steep stairs going up to the breakfast area. Other than that,…it’s a delight!
