Hotel Sole Mare in Ventimiglia

Hard to give the location a 5 because my mapping couldn't get me there, but otherwise deserves it. The hotel is right at the marina, which area is being developed still. The room was pleasantly decorated, mini fridge and safe, with all rooms appearing to have a balcony overlooking the marina. The climatization was wonderful in this heat wave! Desk staff were very helpful in giving directions. They do arrange parking in the city garage, across the street, underground. FYI, Get your room first so they can give you the parking key, or you will need to drive out and park again.

Relaxing waterfront hotel. Good king bed. Updated interiors although the shower is small, everything necessary is there. TV has many channels. Parking is close and lots of dining options. Breakfast included.

Gem that deserves 5 stars

Hotel Sole Mare has exceeded every expectation. On top of the already exceptional experience, it overlooks the Monaco Ports owned Cala del Forte marina which is an outstandingly luxurious place to keep your boat, and a stunning backdrop to wake up to.

From the moment I arrived, everything has been flawless: the rooms are impeccably clean, the staff is warm, organised, and always smiling. They go out of their way to accommodate with kindness and grace, day or night.

A special mention to lady called MC, whose charm, intelligence, and generosity of spirit turned a great stay into something truly memorable. She’s the kind of person who turns a good hotel into an unforgettable one.

I believe it’s a family-run business, and it absolutely shows in the care, pride, and personal attention you feel in every detail.

As a world traveler, I don’t give reviews lightly and this one is far from a courtesy. If you’re near Cala del Forte and wondering where to stay: don’t even hesitate. Hotel Sole Mare is outstanding.

I love this hotel! It's overlooking the marina and the Mediterranean! It's elegant, it's clean the people that run it are fabulous. The ladies at the desk are just the sweetest and the breakfast. The buffet breakfast that comes with the room for free is super. Every pastry, tarts, breads, cakes, pies, eggs, cheeses, meats are there. it's great! I highly recommend this place. But if you're a coffee Person There's no coffee maker inside the room.

Nice and clean hotel next to the new port. Very kind stuff. Perfect sea view. Good location after the tunel. Normal breakfast.

Top place for a couple nights!!

I thought this was a great place and lots of value. Very nice staff and very clean overall with a great location. Minutes walk to the old town and beach. Nothing spectacular but most certainly a great value and location.

Nice stad and Good service

Spotlessly clean, well-maintained hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Generous breakfast, pleasant staff. As many other reviewers mention, the port in front of the hotel is still under construction but it did not affect our stay.
