Park Hotel Marinetta in Marina di Bibbona

We recently stayed at Park Hotel Marinetta and unfortunately found that the negatives outweighed the positives. On the plus side, the staff were consistently kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet was very good, and overall the hotel was clean—though our bathroom did have some mold around the shower. The location works well if you have a car and plan on making day trips, but it’s not ideal if you’re hoping for nightlife or things to do within walking distance.

The dining options were disappointing. We tried both the buffet dinner and the steak restaurant, and neither lived up to the quality or price. Online photos made it seem like the hotel had sea views, but in reality you cannot see the water from the property and have to walk to get there.

The wellness spa was the most underwhelming part of our stay. I paid €75 for what was supposed to be a deep tissue massage but ended up being more of a pinching session than an actual massage. The spa facilities themselves were small, the sauna uncomfortably hot, and several features of the water circuit weren’t functioning properly. In the end, you end up paying far more for the “extras” than the actual hotel stay, and unfortunately those extras aren’t worth it.
