The most creative hotel I've ever stayed in, with very cozy rooms. The atmosphere throughout the entire hotel is wonderful. The family who owns it is incredible. It's worth coming here just for them

No tea or coffee making facilities. Room so noisy we could not sleep so they gave us another room. Staff so unfriendly and very rude. Dinner at night absolutely disgusting, we gave up after a few days and went to another restaurant. My sister is vegetarian, they just didn't get it, the food she got was appalling. The hotel itself was very quirky and fairly clean. Do not recommend.

Stayed 10 days here. Asked for another room after 3 nights, in a small room overlooking the buildings opposite. Noise all night, terrible. Second room much better. The breakfast was ok, same food every morning. Staff uninterested in anything you had to say, bordering on rude. Dinner in their restaurant was appalling. Staff rude, food not great. Being vegetarian, which they knew about, was an absolute joke. Pasta every evening. I could only choose cheese or omelette. Asked for a salad, got a plate of lettuce with olive oil. Omelette greasy with soggy lettuce. Gave up and went out to the lovely restaurants nearby. No coffee/tea facilities in rooms. Had to buy all your drinks, even water. No information about anything in the hotel, if you ask they speak little English and are not interested. Would never go back there, such a shame as Sicily is so beautiful.

We chose this hotel because we hoped to avoid the tourist crowds and to experience the real Sicily. The hotel is extremely charming, clean, wonderful terrace with beautiful plants, unfortunately, they only serve breakfast there. What is positive about this hotel: interior decoration, excellent location, cleanliness, access to the beach with sunbeds and umbrella, restaurant with a wonderful view, continental breakfast with a decent selection of pastries, cured meats, and cereals. The negative side is that the hotel is oriented towards Italian, German and Polish guests. If you are from Britain, you will not feel welcome. Most of the workers don't speak English, although, that's not the problem, the problem is the way they address you and poor customer service, especially from the tall man in the restaurant, who was some kind of manager. The rooms are very simple, we didn't have a fridge, in a hot country like Sicily that is unacceptable. We had breakfast and dinner paid for. Breakfast was decent, but dinner was a different story. Every night you will have pasta to start which was only delicious twice. The main course was edible, we had twice a fresh fish which was delicious and that was it. As a dessert, every night was some fruit. One time they gave us pasta that was uncooked. All in all, we regretted paying for dinner, a waste of money. We could have eaten at local restaurants for that money. On the beach, the lifeguard was extremely kind, but all the seats in the first row were reserved for Italians, and on weekends, the second row. We did not feel comfortable in the hotel or in the restaurant, we did not enjoy the food, and the staff was mostly unfriendly. We felt like second-class citizens. As a family-run business, they should better customer service. Instead, we felt very disappointed by staying in this hotel. We had a great time in Taormina, enjoyed the boat trip, food in other restaurants, drinks as well. In case you make the mistake of going to this hotel, be sure to go to the gelato and pastry shop Niny, fantastic. You can drink great coffee in the morning, enjoy gelato, granita, cakes, and pastries in the afternoon and have some cocktails, wine, and other alcoholic beverages until late at night, with a selection of sneaks that comes with drinks, the staff is wonderful and super helpful. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel doesn’t provide any snacks with drinks. Bottom line, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would never visit again.

This place cannot expect a good review after how I was treated. I checked in, they tell me about breakfast. The next morning I go to have breakfast. Just as I sit down some breakfast lady informs me quite loudly in front of everyone that I was not entitled to eat breakfast and that it will cost 10 euro. I paid this amount for literally a stale bread roll and 2 pieces of ham, they did not give a receipt as apparently their machine was broken. Yeah right!. I'd never return to this hotel or tourist trap of a town again. Skip it, it's not Taormina or Giardini.

We found this wonderful hotel by accident. Great location, friendly staff, good food too. The room was simple but adequate. Sat on our balcony and watched life go by with a bottle of wine. Our visit was early 2019.

Good stop by place, clean, hot showers, comfy bed. Breakfast was not too great though

This hotel is lovely and quirky.. Pepe, artist and chef has added his unique touch to the establishment. One of the highlights for us was eating breakfast in the garden surrounded by mature jasmine and banana trees.
The beach is a stone's throw away and patrolled by a wonderful waitress eager to keep your drinks replenished.
Our room was lovely and quiet, clean and comfortable although could have been a bit bigger.. Probably the luck of the draw as most of the rooms are quite large.
This is ideal for couples or people looking for a quiet, easygoing establishment without noisy entertainment or hordes of kids.

Rooms are OK. Breakfast was one of the worst I had in the last years.
