Hotel Alexander in Giardini-Naxos

This charming hotel is cosy friendly and just lovely. Ok not a massive building by any means but big on a heartwarming stay. Situated in a residential area and just a ten minute walk to the beach)s and about 15/20 minute walk into Giardini Naxos centre with its numerous restaurants and bars a large promenade which stretches for over a mile or more. The hotel provided TV & Air Con with a continental breakfast it has a large-ish pool and sun bed area with outside bar The staff are extremely helpful and friendly this is another gem of an hotel which delivers highly recommended.

What a lovely week away we have had staying here. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Our room was pleasant with a large balcony and bathroom which was cleaned daily by the lovely maids who did an excellent job. The pool area was very tidy and clean with lots of sunbeds to choose. Breakfast was perfect for us with fresh yoghurt, ham, eggs, cereals, pastries and fruit to choose from. the staff did an amazing job at replenishing items and clearing tables. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. There is a pleasant beach nearby with a few nice restaurants. but you can also walk 10 minutes to the other closest beach which has a lively ***** of restaurants and bars. Additionally you can get on a bus to Taromina which costs 1.80 where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to spend the day or an evening there. Absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back.

First class hotel. Staff were brilliant they could not do enough for you. Facilities are clean, pool small but adequate, pool bar good service and fair prices. Room cleaned everyday and bed linen changed 3 times in a week Ottavio was extremely helpful throughout the stay and a credit to the hotel staff Hotel is 5 minute walk from restaurants and 10 minutes to the beach

Location is the best! Hotel is very near the sandy beach and also a 100 meters away from the public bus station from where departs busses to Catania, Siracusa, Taormina and the airport. We spent a great time at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and specious. Breakfast is continental, what is the plus, because hotels in Italy usually offer only croissant and coffee for breakfast. The owner, Madame Victoria is very kind and customer oriented.

My mother and I stayed here 2nd-6th June and it was just perfect. Lovely and clean, all the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Eugene! Great location if you're wanting somewhere a little quieter but still close enough for a good time! Will definitely be returning.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. It is set in a quieter area of Giardini Naxos -Reincarnate. Away from swarms of tourists which we prefer. Beautiful, well maintained pool area with sun loungers, and a small outdoor bar with drinks. Lovely breakfast. Cleaning service was top notch - every day bin got emptied and bed made. The room was hughe which suited us for a longer 11 days stay. Bus stop is around the corner from the hotel itself and offers cheap rides to many places for example - Taormina, Naxos You can also walk to Naxos which is perfect for food and night life - about 15 min walk. Supermarket on a doorstep with more than needed. Opposite a great drinking spot called Sikanie. I can recommend the following local restaurants, Italianicious, la romantica and sopro sota. It was my first time in Sicily and I didn't know what to expect. After just 1 day spent in this beautiful place I absolutely loved it! The kindness, people's personality the passion for art and food has overwhelmed me. I Keep asking myself, how come I never been before? Just returned from a lovely holiday.Staff and owner so friendly and helpful,Octavio such a nice person nothing too much trouble speaks good english too.Very clean and tidy spotless,throughout.Had a room at the top so lovely view. Would highly recommend so quiet and relaxing.Loraine and Les.Plumb.

Hotel was very clean, good size rooms, nice swimming pool with plenty of sun beds, breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Staff were really friendly and helpful , especially when they helped us book the mount etna tour. The area is quiet with a small selection of lovely restaurants nearby and close to beach, but we found the beaches further up Naxos better which is about 20 minute’s walk. Over all a lovely holiday, strongly recommend.

Stayed a week at the hotel from 30 September. It is a lovely small hotel. Hardly anyone at the poolside all week which was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is continental and has cereals, rolls, yoghurts, ham, cheese and omelettes. Our bedroom was a great size and the bathroom was lovely with a large shower cubicle. The beach is very nearby as are a supermarket and restaurants. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and cheap.

The hotel is located at a very good address. It is very clean and there is a parking lot nearby. When we arrived there, the landlord (the landlady) already had a small gift for us
