Hotel la Riva in Giardini-Naxos

Staff was extremely rude after they’ve check us in, eventhough we only had just one question. They said they would resolve the problem and we could just go have dinner, it would be resolved when we would arrive back in the hotel. Problem was not adressed at all upon return and going back to the staff they immediately treated us poorly and rudely, eventhough we tried really hard to stay kind. Rooms are poorly “decorated”. only one flat pillow per person, and the 1 ( 1 extra pillow for a room with two people?) “extra pillow” might aswell be a napkin. We had to call our travel agency due to the whole situation. For a hotel that seems to be in need of tourists, they treat tourists especially rude, in comparison with the native sicillian people. Would not recommend staying here if you prefer to be treated such as every other normal human being.
