Hotel Regina in Caserta

We have just stayed and the problem of having found rubbish in the room of previous guests was resolved by the cleaners with kindness and helpfulness which was much appreciated. Less pleasant was the breakfast requested without dairy products which they were unable to cope with. I was told that they didn't find anything, it's a shame that across the road there is a pastry shop with croissants without dairy products and also an open supermarket 100 meters away where I found mixed products without derivatives. It was enough just to want to satisfy a request made previously

You still have a lot of work to do, you can't get far by making do.

PROS: Fairly convenient location (15 min walk from the Royal Palace). Our room and bathroom were quite clean. At the reception they were kind.

AGAINST:
- Cold and bad smell as soon as you enter the hall.
- Even though I had called the day before check in to make sure they knew about my lactose intolerance, I couldn't eat almost anything for breakfast except some sad biscuits/cakes and drank oat milk (which they found the same morning on my request).

- Fresh fruit consisted only of green apples for diabetics, sour and bitter grapefruit, oranges.

- The quality of the breakfast products was not high judging by the unknown brand yoghurts (not even from the fridge), industrial-looking cakes/tarts taken in and out of the wrapping.

What do you do artisanally? Hotel breakfasts should pamper the palate and not disappoint it.

Courteous staff.
Poorly soundproofed rooms and stained sheets. The stop does not include even a little water.
The air conditioning smelled like cigarettes (the fault of the previous customer) I couldn't use it.

Scary experience, perhaps because I stayed in this hotel during Halloween. I book a room by phone for Saturday night, agreeing on a price. Then I call to book Friday night too. At the end of the stay I go to pay and they ask me for the Saturday night the amount communicated at the time of booking, while €70 more for the Friday night. Reason..... well. Although they gave me a discount, only after about 1 hour of requests for explanations, I can clearly state that my experience in this hotel was absolutely not positive.
