The room I got needs updating. View from balcony is exceptional. Location is right at the center to shopping and dining.

This is not a hotel,but a flat converted into units to rent.Taxi can not get to the entrance due to pedestrian zone.It was clean,but had that unpleasant sewer odor coming from the plumbing.
Low quality bedding.
Location is very good,but not much more beside that.
In my opinion,definitely not a place that deserves the rating it has.

LA MAISON OF SCAMMERS. Dear Guests, stay far away from this bed and breakfast. Before your arrival, they tried to be nice and welcoming, awaiting later on, to realize where the scam is. The manager, a young lady, gave us room number 4. On the first night, for the entire night, continuously we heard an extreme loud noise. We realized that was an electric motor pump for the water. This pump, is installed, on the terrace just behind our room. The next day we called the manger and i asked her to solve the issue, otherwise i would have left. She promised a solution. IT WAS A LIE! The next night, same loud noise. We could not sleep. Additionally, the room was dirty when we arrive. TERRIBLE STAY AND MANAGER LIER TO KEEP YOUR MONEY STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Not worth it.
We knew it was difficult to find. However when we did find it, we could not contact anyone on the intercom. It was a very odd situation with no lobby, only a building door in a small interior courtyard for cars. Finally someone answered the buzzer but still no communication. When the clerk appeared we did not feel welcomed and he spoke no English. Our room was large but awkwardly appointed with bad lighting but a comfortable bed. The shower was a tiny and prefab and the plastic soap dispenser broke upon trying to use it. We were given a huge pile of keys which all went to different things- our room, the elevator, door at the lobby and the gate to the courtyard.

This is the best you can imagine in Naples, to be in its very center, a step away from the Royal Palace and the San Carlo Opera. A small hotel, converted from a huge apartment, is located on the 4th floor of the Umberto 1 Gallery, built in the late 19th century. You need to enter through the arch from the side of Via Toledo. The door to the entrance is on the left. The ancient staircase is equipped with an elevator. The owner is friendly, very nice, he was waiting for us, but we realized that it would be better to inform in advance about the time of our arrival, since he is not there constantly, but only placed and gave us the keys and a coupon for food in the cafe under our room, we did not see him anymore. The 4 m high rooms have preserved authentic doors and windows, Mettlach floor tiles, stucco cornices of the ceilings. The French balcony of our room with huge arched windows looked directly into the space of a cross-shaped gallery, covered with a high glass roof. Everything in the room is very clean, new. We are happy that we settled so conveniently and close to the opera house we came to.

I love this hotel so much! Maybe it's called a B&B. Anyway, it's full of local characteristics. When I looked down from the balcony, I just wanted to scream with excitement. The novelty of the journey is always integrated with the local atmosphere! In addition, their service is thoughtful, considerate and enthusiastic❤️! Love it, I will definitely come again next time I come to Naples!

Centrally located, rooms looking into galleria Umberto 1. Breakfast served in the galleria. Opposite to Quartieri Spagnoli. Free WiFi. Close to metro stations Toledo, Municipio and Funicolare. Reception not always manned. Great shopping in via Toledo.
