We were thoroughly pleased with the facilities, the gorgeous interior decor, beautiful landscaping, fountains, dining room and bars. Our room was spacious, comfortable and a true extension of this nice venue

We observed that the hotel was constantly and happily hosting weddings, birthdays and other social affairs in its many party rooms inside and outside the buildings, obviously a very popular venue for the locals as well

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Santa Caterina. The property is breathtaking, perched on a cliff with panoramic Amalfi Coast views and a private elevator leading to a serene private beach

All I can say is WOW!! The hotel is so beautiful, tge lobbies, sitting areas in and outside, the pool, the restaurants! The gardens are beautiful, walking the garden felt like a fairyland

There was a mix-up with our initial room, but the staff handled it with professionalism and quickly moved us to a beautiful Junior Suite with a stunning sea view

The hotel features a roof terrace (solarium) which is a good place to relax. Minari can be difficult to get to. Allow a bit of extra time for bus and train delays which occur because of the geography of the area

Bar closes around 11pm so no good if you want a late drink. Staff all very efficient and friendly in the restuarant. Only fault I could find, sunbeds too low for older people

Staff all very friendly and efficicient. Good location and although our room was on the front and close to the road, it was quiet at night. Noisy if you like to sit on the balcony as we do

Rooms were of a reasonable size and clean. We wish we’d have opted for bed and breakfast as although our evening meal was good, we preferred the A la Carte menu

Our only gripes were that the bedrooms are on the small side and the shower water not always hot enough but room sizes in Italian hotels are often smaller than the UK and there was a small balcony to compensate

The wine is my only criticism, we ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list which was very expensive, 55 euros, and I’ve had better for under £7 from M&S but generally bar prices are only a little more than the local bars etc Many bars and restaurants locally just a 5 min walk up the road and some really excellent fresh pasta restaurants down the hill, fish to die for also All in all can’t wait to...

As a solo traveller I was delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival and was shown around the hotel by a lady on reception which was a very nice touch to help settle in

The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the city center, which is very convenient. If the rooms are renovated, this hotel could easily be considered a 5-star property

There is also a rooftop with an amazing view and live music, which adds to the overall experience. We had a one-night à la carte dinner, and the quality was amazing

Quite frankly I've never been treated better in my life, they genuinely can't do enough for you! Across the board fantastic service. Wild rabbits by the jacuzzis aren't for everyone but I loved them!

The hotel has a great swimming pool with a nice bar, and the garden offers a beautiful atmosphere. There is live music along with a buffet that includes many options at a reasonable price—unfortunately, we missed it

The concierge and reservations team took care of everything perfectly from the moment we made the booking (even allowing us to shift the days due to our circumstances without any issue) we were also upgraded to a larger room which was a nice surprise

But most importantly the staff at all levels were superb. Very friendly efficient and took care of everything with an Italian smile and warmth. We had a cooking class that was great and got to experience local cooking

All the services from restaurant bookings including transport and recommendations, where to shop in town were given clearly. The best managed property we have experienced everything was immaculate

We used the complimentary shuttle to and from town that was a bonus and the complimentary boat service as well. We had dinner at Zass which was wonderful

The views from all areas of the hotel are stunning and the location being outside the main part of town allows for a quiet relaxing experience

Great services and amenities like thermal water, a cute gattini, a bar, and breakfast+dinner. My wife and I only stayed for one night, but it was great, I seriously recommend. They even gave us a ride to/from the port

The rooms, although simple, were clean and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. And what about the natural thermal water pool? A real panacea for body and mind

It is in an excellent central location near the cruise terminal and castle nuovo, so it is close to historic sites and shopping. The staff are very friendly and efficient and all speak English

I loved the roof terrace at the restaurant, which had a lovely view. I think the hotel must be dog-friendly, as I saw somebody heading toward the restaurant with a dog as I was leaving it

I used it for business purposes, and the location is good and the breakfast is great. I plan to visit again, and business travelers also like it. It's a good place I want to use again.

When transiting in Naples, it is an ordinary business hotel, but safe and cheap

The room is very small, very small, and the bathroom is also very small, with the shower above the toilet. But the front desk service is good, the location is good, very close to the pier and convenient transportation

Solid Mercure Hotel, room size okay, clean, bathroom rather small. Rooms facing the street can hear traffic noise all night long. The airport bus - Alibus has its stop 5 minutes walk away at the harbor

We were checked-in by Antonella and she surprised us with a room upgrade, a big suite with a direct view of Vesuvius and the bay of Napoli! We were checked-out by Cristina, both of them were very polite, professional and helpful

Nello the bartender is a fun guy and will make you an excellent drink -- A real Napoli boy he is! You can visit both Napoli, Sorrento, Amalfi coast and Capri from this hotel, but start as early as possible, of course

Great place to stay and very clean. It wasn't crowded and the front desk has been very helpful. The restaurant was very nice too. It was so relaxing to sleep with the balcony for open and listen to the waves outside

A very smart clean hotel with an excellent pool and access to the sea, the rooms were large and well appointed with all the amenities you would expect

The hotel is located in the mountains, the environment is good, it has its own beach, facing the Bay of Naples, and parking is convenient, but the parking lot and the hotel are on both sides of the road, and you may miss the entrance if you are not careful

She went out of her way to accommodate our family and made sure our kids had double rooms right next to us, which made our stay so much smoother. Her warm attitude and professionalism truly set the tone for the trip

We had a fantastic experience at Ara Maris Hotel & Spa. The entire staff was genuinely welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. The rooms were spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable

They have an excellent breakfast on site and a beautiful pool and surrounding patio with a small spa and a nice gym downstairs

Nice pool and plenty of food places around, although it is classed as a 4* it could easily be a 5*

Bar inside the hotel was never open even after before or after dinner , reception said go to the pool bar , not everyone wants to sit out side at night and listen to the childish antics of the entertainers and get bitten

Located right by the train station where the honking starts around 530 am and ironically that's when the hotel decides to turn off the ac to the rooms (from 05:00 - 06:00) Room is super small, not enough drawers or hanging space for 1 let alone 2 people

Bathroom is not private, it's see-through and definitely not sound proof. You can hear the hallway sounds. Breakfast buffet is nothing special, but they do offer the basics of selct juices, coffees and teas, cheeses, etc

Elevators take a while during the day/afternoon time frame as the only have 2, and if they're occupied by the time it reaches your floor, you'll need to request another one

Some of the most helpful staff I’ve encountered, the only draw back is the buffet food but to be expected, I never get my hopes up for the food in hotels

An excellent stay in Sorrento Excellent property all around with outstanding service, a great rooftop terrace restaurant for fine dining and sunset views with adjacent cocktail bar with live music, and enormous free breakfast with live music and food for the day, and a large pool with plenty of uncrouded lounge chairs

Access is available to the beach by a seperate owner which comaes at an exorbitant cost, would be better if the hotel did a deal for their guests!!

I really like it!!!!! The room is a little small, but that's a pity, and it's not a problem at all when choosing! Please note that the hotel pool and breakfast area do not have an ocean view

Only negative is you lose the sun by the pool a little bit earlier due to being on a lower level

In American ratings, I would likely give it 4 star as things were a bit sparse in the room in terms of a warm and cozy feel. But it was very lovely, clean and the staff was awesome

The room and view were unbeatable. The breakfast options were numerous and delicious. The biggest standout was the staff. From the front desk to the breakfast service to the bar staff. Each individual was exceptional.

We walked into town every day - may be a little bit of a walk (with a hill) for people who have a hard time walking, but we liked getting the exercise before and after our meals

The views from this hotel are absolutely incredible, and the heated pool is a great bonus! It’s located a bit outside Positano’s city center, but they do offer an hourly shuttle bus

Just a heads-up — the shuttle can fill up quickly, and if you miss it, you’ll need to wait for the next one

There’s also a private beach and a boat taxi to the Positano port, but both close in October, so keep that in mind when booking your stay. The gym doesn’t open until 9 a

, which might be a little late if you like to work out early. Overall, a decent stay with stunning views and good amenities — just plan ahead for transportation and seasonal closures

Staff very helpful and friendly. Antonio pool attendant couldn't do enough for you! Food very Italian excellent especially fish courses. The rooms I would say were more 3* than 4* but kept very clean

The hotel is situated in a best strategic place between main street and sea. Outside pool with thermal water, and inside the hotel is termal spa. I recommand for people who want to rest and charging inner batteries

We stayed at Santa Lucia for three nights before our cruise. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the bellman stored our luggage until our room was ready. When we entered our room we were extremely pleased

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia in Naples as a transition before heading to Positano, and it ended up being one of the surprises of our trip. The hotel, the location, the food, and the people were all amazing

The hotel is perfectly positioned along the Bay of Naples. The first impression at the entrance is its elegance and warm, attentive staff. Our room overlooking the Bay was spacious and comfortable

Breakfast was included and the staff there were very attentive. The location right on the water couldn’t be better. There is a long promenade that you can walk. Lots of great restaurants nearby
