Advertised as a 4 star Hotel Booked via TUI - no restaurant for evening meals, only breakfast. No room service. Small bar. Bedrooms dated and in a poor state of repair. Located on an extremely busy road - you step out of the main entrance literally onto the road. Many areas of the property require refurbishment- missing roof tiles in ceiling in corridor and paint peeling on walls. Areas of dampness evident. Plaster of ceiling in bedroom, curtains do not close and windows require cleaning. Positive aspects Minimal staffing, who are friendly and helpful. 20 minutes walk to centre of Naples

⭐ 2.5/5
This hotel is rated as a four-star, but unfortunately, the facilities do not match a modern four-star standard. Perhaps it was considered four-star in 1908, but not today.
The location is far from both the metro station and the beach, making access quite difficult. The entrance is right next to a busy highway with only a narrow pedestrian path, which feels unsafe.
The room did not have a kettle or tea-making facilities, which is essential for a comfortable stay.
The only positive point was the friendly and helpful staff.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!! Is smelled damp on arrival, it is literally on a duel carriage way with just a step between you and the extremely busy road. It is run down and dirty, we asked to see the “sun terrace” as advertised by Tui and were shown eventually to what I can only describe as a dumping ground for old broken furniture, there were a couple of filthy wicker seats that were covered in bird poo, there was only one member of staff around, no one running the bar, although it was so uninviting we didn’t want to go in. The bedrooms were dark and stale smelling all of the walls were cracked/crumbling and the whole place was in a state of dis repair. Breakfast was served in a grubby room and consisted of a try of ham, a tray of cheese slices some cake and the hot option was sausages that looked like hotdogs and pale sorry looking bacon! We asked Tui to move us but they were really unhelpful and matter of fact about the state of the hotel! It was an awful start to our multi centre holiday.

Having just returned from a 4* TUI multicentre holiday to Italy we were very disappointed by our 3 night stay at Hotel Capodimonte Naples and cannot understand why TUI are still advertising this in the brochures as it is not up to standard. The street entrance is on a busy roundabout with a narrow pavement outside. The constant sound of traffic and Ambulance sirens due to the hospital being situated behind the hotel making it difficult to have a restful sleep. We were allocated a spacious family room the bathroom however did not have a toilet seat and the small shower cubicle sliding door was rickety coming off its hinges. The mini fridge did not work during our entire stay. The wardrobe had 3 hangers one each! All outside terraces of the hotel were inaccessible due to the poor state of the building with posters on doors stating NON USCIRE. DO NOT EXT. there was nowhere to sit outside in the sunshine. This was unacceptable for 4* hotel. There were internal areas of the hotel that needed attention where plaster had come off the walls with damp patches in areas. Continental Breakfast was satisfactory with a selection of bread, cakes, fruit, yoghurt and boiled eggs with limitless hot and cold drinks however there was only one choice of cereal namely Kellogg Cornflakes and the cooked breakfast did not look appetising. We did not use the bar other than requesting ice as we had no fridge as we stayed out of the hotel for as long as possible during our stay. Staff were polite and did arrange the fitting of a toilet seat on the second day of our stay. The hotel was clean and may have been a four star hotel in the past but has not been maintained and should be regraded to avoid misleading customers into a disappointing 4* holiday experience. We also had to pay tourist tax for our 16 yr old in Naples which we did not have to do in Sorrento.

I was very shocked by the fact that the staff sent me to park with an illegal parking attendant, behind the church of Capodimonte asking me for 15 €, and when I refused they tried to scare me by saying that it is dangerous to leave the car on the street....you don't behave like that. I have come here other times and I have never had any problems whatsoever.

Everything was perfect starting from the welcome at the reception, very kind staff

It's near the road, noisy, and the hotel facilities are old. But it is clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel is relatively old, the environment is OK. Breakfast is simple. But it's clean and very European.

This hotel is nice and the service is excellent. Close to a church, elegant environment. The waiters were very nice and the breakfast was good. Because it is a certain distance from the city center, it is especially suitable for those who drive by themselves.

The worst hotel ever! The entry is directly off a main road with a very narrow pavement. Everything is very old, the hotel has probably seen better days in the past but it's now nothing but ancient ruins. The air-conditioning didn't work either. I was booked for 3 nights but I couldn't stay there more than one night before I moved to a better hotel.

Hi! Do not be foul by the 4 star ranking. Located far from center uphill in Napoli. Aspect t pay taxi (15euro) to get from city historical center. The room was clean ,but with a PUNGENT PESTILANCIL (mold) odor. It was a last minute call to get a ccomodation in Naples.
