Hotel San Pietro in Naples

On the very first night, the bathroom flooded overnight, forcing us to change rooms. Initially, we were told to wait until a plumber fixed the issue, showing little concern for the situation. Only later did they reluctantly provide another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was hardly an improvement: the duvet had visible stains, the shower door in the bathroom was loose and looked as though it could fall off at any moment, and basic maintenance was clearly neglected.
The lift was almost always out of order and appeared to work only once a day, which was completely unacceptable. Basic amenities were also lacking. Tissues were provided only once and never replenished, there was no bottled water supplied at all, and overall housekeeping standards were extremely poor.
The surrounding neighbourhood was equally disappointing — dirty, noisy, and uncomfortable, making it very unpleasant to stay there, especially at night.
Breakfast was another concern. The food quality was questionable, with items looking as though they had been sitting out for days. It was far from fresh and certainly not what one would expect from a hotel offering breakfast to its guests.
The only positive aspects of this hotel were the tasty croissants and its convenient location near the central station. Unfortunately, these small positives do not come close to compensating for the numerous issues experienced during the stay.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

We (my 60 year old college roommate and I) stayed at Hotel San Pietro, Naples, for one night before an early flight out of Naples airport. Our travel agent booked the room. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, however it is not a safe area. We asked the front desk for a recommendation on where to get a quick bite to eat and left the hotel on foot around 6:00 PM. We returned shortly after 7:00 PM and I was mugged about 20 feet from the hotel front entrance. I had on only costume jewelry with the exception of a small gold chain that I didn't think was worth anyone's interest. Well I was wrong! Thank God he did not take my phone or my purse though. When I finally made it into the hotel, the worker who got me some ice for my injury told me that "yesterday one of our guest was wheeling his 2 suitcases with both hands and a pickpocket stole his phone out of his pocket". Why would the workers not suggest we order in or get a taxi instead of walking on foot if they are aware this is not a safe area. The room safe is very small and lightweight, so even if I had valuable things, I wouldn't feel safe storing them in the hotel safe anyway. I would avoid this area all together in the future.

Property location was very bad & amenities were basic . It’s not a 4 star hotel & def not family friendly .
