Hotel Lodi in Rome

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the metro, with a cafe selling croissants and a shop along the way. They didn't allow early check-in, but you can leave your luggage for free after check-out, which is early, by 10:30 AM. There's a 24-hour reception desk with a live person. The room has a shower, toilet, and bidet. It was clean, and the water was warm, not hot. The bed was bug-free. When we asked, they provided hot water for tea and glasses for free. We requested two single beds but got one double bed. The windows face a noisy street in the mornings. There's a hotel bus that goes to the city center. The neighborhood feels safe at night, with no suspicious characters around.

Excellent accommodation, friendly and helpful staff

A nice Italian-style hotel. The rooms have antique wooden doors and windows, adding to the hotel's charm. There's a good Tigre supermarket nearby. The Lodi metro station is a 10-minute walk away, which is two stops from the Colosseum. If you walk to the next stop, San Giovanni, it's three stops to Termini Station. Transfers from the green to the orange line are subject to a fee.

Very nice wee hotel far from the crowds but with very good public transport connections. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. We booked the wrong room for our needs but they were very accommodating in upgrading and did not charge a fortune. It’s a family hotel so may not be suitable for everyone and I’m not sure if there’s a lift. Italian breakfast or just coffee available for extra charge, no kettles in the rooms though. However, there’s a lovely garden with fruit trees and they may allow to have the fresh fruit if asked. We had a great stay overall.

This hotel is nice and worthy. The location is close to the metro so you can go to the main attractions by metro easily. Also, the staff are nice and helpful.

Everything was good. Good location, near of the Lodi subway station. Very clean. But, hot water was complicate. The first day I had to get a shower in barely tepid water. Not pleasant at all. I think they should put a microwave in the dinner room. They have one, but we need to ask for it in reception.

It was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.

The rooms on the second and third floor very pretty good. At first they gave us a room in the basement that was awful. We could hear almost everything happening outside our room. The sound of the flush toilets of other rooms looked like is happening inside our room. We asked them relocate us and they kindly did it. In summary excep for our first that we could not sleep at all it was good.

The hotel itself is quite modest.
It's a 40-minute walk from Termini Station, but you need to take the bus or metro. The same applies to other attractions.

The area is quiet and there aren't many things nearby.

We initially wanted a basement room, but they were understanding and found an upstairs room with plenty of natural light.

The room itself is clean and pleasant, but there's no safe or refrigerator.
The receptionist and the woman who keeps the place clean were very pleasant and nice. The receptionist helped with my suitcase, as there's no elevator.
But the location is definitely a minus.

The receptionist was kind and I had a good impression. The room was old, but if you don't mind that, it was fine.
There is only one large fan, so it can be hot in the summer.
There is no refrigerator.
They will make coffee or cappuccino for you at breakfast.
It's a little far from the city center, but it's no problem if you use the subway.
