This is a beautiful, historic hotel that is close to the Vatican and also the Lepanto metro stop. The people at the front desk were so helpful and spoke English. They allowed us to leave our bags with them on the last day so that we could attend Pope Benedict’s funeral. The breakfast is truly excellent and perhaps the best I’ve ever had included at a hotel - multiple kinds of breads, cakes, Italian meats, cheeses, salads, fruit, etc. Our room was a bit small but very pretty in a historic way. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

I asked the staff on multiple times to fix my wifi and they did absolutely nothing. When I told them about my problem they fobbed me of saying that they 'would work on it' and when I came back from dinner their response was that 'nobody else complained about it' Shockingly bad service .

The hotel is in a convenient location to walk to many places. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly and makes every attempt to understand and speak English or help you with your Italian. It's clean and has a lovely outdoor garden.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights here. From comfortable and beautiful rooms to the exceptional staff who are polite, always accommodating and ensured our stay was flawless.

The breakfast is delicious and I will definitely be coming back to stay here again! My family loved the hotel

Sumptuous breakfast buffet, great location in a residential neighborhood, beautiful old grand building with marble stairs and large comfortable rooms. You'll still run into the hotel owner at breakfast, cheerful and doting as ever. Metro and bus stops a couple of blocks away.

Great location, walking distance to all main attractions, close to the metro station which we took to take us to the Colosseum. Stuff are so helpfull. Rooms are clean. Perfect breakfast and perfect coffee.

Negatives; rooms are not silent. We can hear other peoples talking, or other bathrooms sound as flushing etc. Room was very cold at nights.

Very clean rooms and an amazing staff. If you like firm mattresses this is definitely your place. Hard mattresses aside we really enjoyed our time here.

We had selected this Hotel for a weekend in Rome and were not disappointed. The Hotel is quietly and yet very conveniently located. To recommend 20 minutes to St. Peter's square, for an evening stroll. The staff is very friendly, and on Sunday the owner even came in to the Breakfast room and asked about the origin of the guests, in their language, according to the well-being. Very nice!

Great costumer service. Decent-size room with good-size bathroom. Great breakfast. The garden was a plus! We met the owner at the breakfast room, had a little chat with us, and made sure that we were attended to well. Conveniently located near the Lepanto Metro station. My dad did not realize he left his cell phone on the breakfast table until after we left for sightseeing, but came back to it at the reception desk that evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and would go back to this hotel again!

Excellent location to center of Rome - so many places are within walking distance, but the hotel is far enough away that you avoid the noise and crowds.
