The room was nice and the location was good, however, I recommend a different location if you don't do stairs well because the best way to get around Rome on foot from this hotel is by walking up and down the Spanish steps. This was wonderful for me, but not as great for my mother. The service was very hospitable, however, the shower didn't work properly and the main showerhead just dripped cold gross water on you and looked very dirty and calcified. Only the handheld part of the shower worked in our room.

My only complaint was the noise level. The Julia is right on the street and next to the lift. It was impossoble to remain asleep with the traffic and anyone using the lift ajacen to the wall where the bed is positioned.

Fantastic location right by the Spanish steps, wonderful personal service with bag storage, restaurant recommendations and a text when the room was ready as we arrived early. Very clean and quiet room despite busy street below. Would stay again next time in Rome.

Great location for our stay in Rome, everything we needed and a little more with the welcoming gifts. Very secure and safe comfortable apartment, clean and bright, with a little communal sitting area with coffee machine a nice little touch. Helpful host and the availability to leave our luggage on departure (evening flight) was a bonus, we wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend.

Great property located at the top of the Spanish Steps…We walked everywhere!! The place is spotless and the air conditioned was great in the hot August temperatures. Larissa was very accommodating and arranged for transportation from the airport and eventually to the cruise ship. Thank you all!!

We spoke with our neighbors who had also been dealing with this, as well as not having WiFi, and they were extremely thankful that they were checking out the next day. That was NOT a good sign. We had freezing cold water during our honeymoon stay here from 10/14 through 10/17 without the ability to shower. FOUR TIMES they told us it was fixed and it wasn't. Then, we agreed to compensation reimbursement over WhatsApp --- and they told us they'd give us cash but conveniently "we were leaving too early the next morning in order for them to drop it off"... this was at 4 p.m. the afternoon before we were leaving. Next, they asked us for our bank and routing number (side note: who would trust / give out this information?)... so we agreed to PayPal compensation (again, we have the WhatsApp texts as proof), and the owner only sent us ONE HALF of the agreed upon compensation amount. Additionally, the owner has us eat the transfer fees when we could've just had the cash had they been willing to drop it off. Please don't support this lying & unethical owner. Also, the bed felt terrible and was impossible to sleep on.. like one of those EXTREMELY cheap Amazon ones. If you're walking 20 thousand steps a day and can't sleep because of the bed, it is DEFINITELY a very cheap bed. There is better value to be found elsewhere.
