La Residenza dell'Angelo in Rome

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at the residenza. Excellent location, walking distance to most major attractions (trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican, etc).
Our rooms were as expected....clean and charming! Very friendly staff. 20 minutes walk from Trastevere neighborhood ( no shortage of restaurants and bars!). Will definitely return!

The folks here were very friendly & helpful. Location is great. We walked to all of the major attractions & the Vatican over our 3 days here. The Colosseum was a bit of a far walk but we did it. The room is small and a bit awkward, but we only used it as a place to stash our stuff and sleep, so for the price it worked just fine.

Excellent location, walking distance to so many Roman sights! The room was very clean, new towels every day, tea and coffee in the room.
Comfy beds and pillows and a decent shower with good pressure, which had been rare in italy so far. Desk person was around quite a bit and they had phone numbers at the front door for late check-in.
Would definitely stay again

It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived at the hotel and were given a whole apartment instead of just a room. They clean the apartment every day and upon arrival, they give you a generous supply of coffee, tea, and cookies. The room itself was quite spacious and had two wardrobes for our belongings. The kitchen was also well-equipped. We definitely plan on choosing this same hotel when we return to Rome again. Additionally, it only takes about 30 minutes on foot to reach nearly every tourist attraction in the city.

Nice comfortable hotel in an absolutely amazing quite location in only 2 min from the Saint Angel Castle. The hotel is placed in quite an old building, which adds special atmosphere to it. The room was big and cozy and contained everything which is needed. The service was warm and welcoming.
The bed was comfortable, and there were several pillows so that one can select the best for him/her. There was enough space for the clothes. There was a kettle and a good choice of tea available, together with coffee and some cookies; a small fridge as a minibar.
I didn't like the bathroom very much because the water in the shower fell only from the top , however I understand it is a question of taste. The bidet is located not in the most useful position. And sometimes it was hard to make the water warm: either very cold, either very hot.
However, overall I would recommend it for a short stay in Rome.
Just one thing to add.. The walls don't reduce the voices and sounds of your neighbours, so that you can hear almost everything what is going on in the next apartment. It's understandable that it is not a fault of the hotel, but it would be fine, if a short informing notification or request for silence would be placed somewhere in the room for the guests, so that they would know that it would be nice to lower the voices after 22:00.... Just as a recommendation.

Very nice, clean room. We did not have any hot water for our stay, which was ok because of the sweltering temperature outside, but still, it was a bit strange.

The check in time was supposed to be at 3, but we actually got in at 6.30 because the appointment was not clean. The crew never showed up, so they had to find a backup person.
