This place is a scam. They had no clean towels, the shower doors were broken, the lock was loose, our roommates complained of no hot water.

The reception lady when we left our bags was nice enough, but when we checked in we were told we needed a 5 euro cash deposit for the key, which we gave, and the man said he will just put in the box and give us the same bill back when we check out. When we checked out, our bill was gone and there were only 10 euro bills. The man at the desk refused take responsibility saying that "it wasn't his fault" our 5 euros weren't in the drawer. He refused to give us our money back, even when I offered to give him 2.50, so that they would only lose 2.50 on the 10 euros given back to us. He refused still. Real lack of hospitality.

Scam

we were just chilling talking and singing with other girl staying there and the guy works at reception VERY rudely warned us to be silent as this is some kind of church? mind you we were not loud or whatever but they lack hospitality as a hostel.

We stayed at Rome Experience after a long day of cycling and were really pleasantly surprised. The little courtyard for storing our bikes was perfect, the location was super easy to find, and the receptionist was genuinely lovely and so helpful. The room, toilet and shower were all clean and totally great for a hostel. Honestly, nothing to complain about — a solid 5-star hostel stay. Very happy overall!

Would not recommend for reasons of safety, hygiene and dignity. Kindly top up whatever you planned on spending here and get yourself a decent hostel/hotel. ABSOLUTELY would not recommend to anyone. The receiptionist did try to offer me a better dorm room with a shared bathroom, I'll give them that, but it was too little, too late after seeing what I'd already seen. Unless they upgrade, don't book this place.

It's fairly bare bones kinda place. There is a nice rooftop hangout spot. The bunk rooms are very basic. The power outlets are scarce, not good ventilation and crowded. No fan or AC, and lots of traffic noise, which is actually a blessing. Bathroom are barely adequate. Great location if you want to catch an early train. Convenience store and dinning very close. It does the job, but aint the Ritz.

It was good, booked very last minute, the day before arriving Rome, and it was a very reasonable price for the last minute. The pictures are not as shown, but it’s still a good opportunity, has a bed and the people you share the room with are also in the same position as you are, so it’s not as unbearable as you might think.
Klever was one of the staff I met and very kind and nice.

If your like me booking last minute, its a good place and close to a metro station that leads straight to city center. There’s no locks in either the rooms or outside (anyone can just walk in) so don’t forget to bring your own lock and never leave anything valuable behind, and you’ll have a regular stay

Very hospitable people. They do late check-in and te rooms are very tidy and clean. The washrooms are well maintained and the building has air-conditioning.

Good and quiet hostel, I've been to worse and better. The people are really nice, and I would especially like to thank Kleber at the reception for helping me with everything I needed. If I were to suggest something for the hostel, it would be to put at least one fan in each room, provide individual safes to store your belongings and also plugs in each bed Plugs, in my experience, are pretty sparse. I had to charge my cell phone several times at reception or away from me inside the room. In addition, the hostel is good, close to the train, bus and subway station.

I appreciate the staff and the energy of this hostel. This place really grew on me. You can walk 2km and Colosseum is there as well as the view from just toilet or terrace is very beautiful. You just have to walk around and discover this part of Rome. I would recommend Materia cafe that is 8min walk away from here.

Place felt like a haunted house. Place was filthy beds were uncomfortable and were creaking non stop. There was no door to my room and the window would not close!! Please DO NOT go here whether it’s because you don’t want to cough up a extra few dollars to go somewhere else or if you just don’t know better, please take my advise and don’t go here!
