Vicolo del Lupo Guesthouse in Rome

We enjoyed our stay and would book again next time. The rooms were nice, larger than expected, had a fridge, and the AC worked well (important for Rome in July!). The area was great - very walkable and near shopping, restaurants and sights. Our check-in was a little messy, as they request you to text them the day before to send the door codes. We never heard back and arrived to the hotel without having any communication. Turns out they use WhatsApp and had messaged us there, which we didn't know as no communication we received mentioned WhatsApp. Other than that, book here!

We had a very nice relaxing time. There was beverages snacks and water in our room. Clean room towels and bedding.
We had beverages stayed in a place where there was no front desk, but Marta the owner was on what’s app and we was able to contact her giving our details as requested and Marta giving us clear instructions how to get in the building and our section with our door labelled as white.
If I needed anything I just had to text Marta.
We had gone to Roma to celebrate my husband’s 50th and Marta made a point of coming to meet us and wish my husband a happy birthday which was very nice. Was also nice to meet Marta in person.
We had a very early start leaving our hotel at 4.30am. We were worried as to how to organise a taxi. I texted Marta she organised one for me and said it is a bit dearer but they will be there. We agreed and yes the driver was actually early he had my contact number and I had his. We were treated like VIP’s and looked after all the way to airport drop off. The fare was €70 but worth it. I cannot praise Marta and her team for we were looked after very well.
Loved Roma beautiful city we were.

We had amazing stay with my wife! Marta was truly so helpful always available via whatsapp. Book directly for a better price. Location is the BESTTTT! Close to everything and to the transportation. Room was more than enough and bigger than expected. We stayed for even for an extra night 5 nights in total. Would def visit again!!

This is a great small place in a perfect location! Rooms were clean and comfortable! Reading the other reviews... be sure to get your check in information before you arrive. There is not 24 hour service. Luckily the host reached out to me with check in information! That little extra step is worth it! It was a great stay!

We have stayed twice as a couple in this B&B and we loved it!
One of the greatest advantages is the code check-in that makes arrival simple and immediate. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the beautiful wooden beams and natural walls give an authentic touch to the rooms. The bathroom is clean and there are also disposable detergents,
The location is stellar, in the center, a few metro stops from Termini and with all the major attractions of Rome within walking distance. If you come to Rome for tourism it is perfect. You can also leave your luggage in the entrance and then retrieve it before leaving, very convenient.
The owner is very kind and helpful and the communication is quick and effective.
A must for our weekends in Rome!
