There are multiple issues that arose during our two night stay;
1. Toilet did not flush. There is a basic expectation that you have a functional toilet. This was embarrassing and was partially rectified by giving us a bucket to flush water down, again embarrassing.
2. The wifi was non-existent, it did not connect once.
3. I asked what the price was for water on a message and got a reply 12 hours later saying look in your booklet information (this was not in there). I actually also called on whatsapp, after a very long wait, the guy answered and was useless. He said, “there is a charge, I don’t know what it is” no effort made to look it up.
4. A pipe is broken externally at the front of the property, all night this was making a dripping noise down the front, whoever lives above uses alot of water, this kept us awake.
I messaged about the multiple issues and received no such compensation or efforts to rectify our experience.

Sitting surrounded by sculptures - amazing. We had burrata tomatoes basil and ham&melon starters, with some drinks. Burrata was amazing! So fresh and tasty! Very nice evening! Absolutely recommend.

This hotel was amazing! Perfect location to the shopping streets and close to the best restaurants. The rooms were very unique, clean, and quiet. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Rome is a fabulous city and when I return, I will undoubtedly stay at Residenza Canova!

Not 4 stars by American standards. No real lobby area. Bathroom could use updating. Bed not very comfortable. Lack of toiletries. Good service at the front desk. Awkwardly the cleaning lady found? Or left? Itinerary and Sanitary pads from another person?

OMG the host at the entrance is such a pompous a-hole. The guys serving the bar are cool with the tourists.
