I did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on it.
The room was clean; however, it felt quite damp and there was a slight smell of mold.
The bathroom also felt damp, with some signs of mold.
That said, I understand that it is winter and, being a seaside location, there were few guests, which made the property feel rather quiet.
I believe the experience may be very different during the summer season.
Based on my stay at this time of year, my overall impression was below expectations

A Place to Sleep
We needed a basic hotel to stay at on our trip from Rome to Scalea by bicycle and it was exactly as expected.

Let me start by saying that I couldn't stay in this hotel because they have a very non-transparent management. They choose to stay on Wonderbox, they will have their reasons, but then they make it impossible for you to stay. I purchase this box set, I call the hotel to book and they tell me that I have to add a paid night to the 2 that I have included in the box set (and this wasn't already specified). I say ok and ask for a quote, for the additional night they ask me 170 Euros compared to a 120 Euro box set that included 2! I tell them that the price is too high and so they offer me 3 nights all paid for at 280 euros (93 euros per night). When I point out the difference they tell me they can't give me a favorable price with the voucher. But then I say what are you doing on these sites??? I'm sorry because if they had come to meet us we would have paid them for the extra night and they would have collected the price of the smartbox, which in any case was PAID with money not in sweets, instead so I just feel like saying that I wouldn't go there regardless this place. Forget it!

Restaurant rating They offer you a fish and seafood menu. Opted for the seafood one as an appetizer, 3 bruschettas but the bread was stone with 1/4 of a prawn, a tomato with tuna, canned, it's a kind of anchovy!!! The first calamarata arrived on the rock, the sauce was sour, there was a miserable clam and a kind of mussel and finally a prawn. I pointed out to the staff that the pasta was not as expected and they replied that they have a simple cuisine, not even the humility to keep quiet or fix it.

Location close to the sea. You just have to cross the street and walk down an avenue. The agreement with the beach is excellent.
The atmosphere is familiar. The structure is not modern but picturesque. The room had some improvements to do: wardrobe, mattress and one evening when we returned from the beach there was no hot water (after a few minutes it came back), bathroom in general to be restored. Good cleaning even if under the bed we found dust and something not belonging to us. Restaurant in the green and with a play area for children. Roberto very friendly and professional waiter. We stayed on a half board basis. Excellent and abundant dinner. The owners very nice and welcoming. The receptionist who checked us in was also very friendly but probably didn't read the booking file well as it had gaps regarding our stay.
For a 3-star hotel I believe that breakfast needs more choices of dishes. Croissants, jam, rusks, yoghurt, nutella and hot coffee drinks are offered. If you don't offer anything salty, in my opinion, you should expand the range of sweet products. Overall, however, we found everything very good.
The hotel has very good potential as long as it works to improve its weaknesses.
Our rating would be 3.5 stars but we give it 4 because of all the positive aspects of our stay and the fact that it is under new management.

Badly furnished room, almost crumbling shower cubicle, dirty tiles in the joints, in the room two balcony doors (ground floor) one overlooked the next room, so I had to close and lower the shutter, otherwise you could see tt .... the other door had access to the small terrace (garden ") on the ground full of leaves, dry plants, dirty and empty pots cnq x 6 days I was able to get out for a photo, parking for two days I had to park outside because very little space, at each now you could not rest, because the owner spoke loudly with anyone who entered, breakfast then ..... u obviously frozen croissant, fruit juice diluted with water and then I leave you to imagine .... and luckily it is for lunch than dinner I preferred to go elsewhere .... I would not go there again for free, I swear.

Short stay, unfortunately. We were sorry to leave this small hotel full of charm and retro character where thanks to the staff we felt at home and always welcome. The owners are a young and enthusiastic couple and it shines through in all the commitment they put into managing the property. The hotel has its age but I must say that instead of a defect it is a virtue because it exudes a relaxed air of yesteryear. The restaurant in the pine forest is a corner of paradise where you can stay cool even at lunchtime !!! And where children have room to run around (which should never be underestimated). The cuisine is excellent and always expressed. We also tasted the much praised pizza and I must say it did not disappoint. The agreement with the nearby beach is excellent. We will come back often

The Meison Feliz hotel is the best you can find, if you are looking for a quiet and simple place, in a clean, friendly and familiar environment, but attentive to customer care. The intermediary company that managed the booking did not convince me very much, due to various reticence and evasive answers, but the structure accepts the holiday bonus so I wanted to try and I did very well. I stayed in a serene, clean environment, I felt '' pampered '', almost like '' at home '', for the various attentions received, the staff and managers always efficient, friendly and attentive to good performance in an atmosphere of serenity rather rare. The simple dishes but of excellent quality. It would seem a foregone conclusion and instead, based on my past experiences, I can say with certainty that unfortunately this is not always the case. The affiliated beach, well managed, is close enough, but it doesn't seem like 100 meters as indicated, rather about 300, or at least this was my impression, but it wasn't a problem. The only drawback, which in any case does not affect the score, is not having known in advance the costs of the drinks, which I paid separately at the end of the stay, when I had already paid the bill. Very positive experience, I will go back as soon as possible, and I am recommending it to all my relatives, friends and acquaintances, I hope they will always remain so splendid without ever changing.
