Hotel Ariston in Imperia

Hotel Ariston is one of those rare experiences where not a single thing is out of place! As a minor example, the hotel provides reusable water bottles in each room, and a chilled-water dispenser to fill them from. Excellent breakfast with home-baked pastries. Also, Imperiale is one of the nicest little towns on the Ligurian coast. Much less touristy than most other towns, beautiful medieval town centre, a nice collection of small restaurants near the harbour. Have dinner at Marluce or at Bistrot del Duomo (in the old town), you will not regret it!

Hotel Ariston is an absolute gem hidden in the narrow streets of Porto Maurizio, Imperia. Luca and his team are very welcoming and makes the stay unforgettable. The room we had for our week was clean, decently sized and had a very cozy balcony, overlooking the Italian riviera. Breakfast was good, with a great selection of food, including marvellous coffee.
The hotel is a short walk from the beaches, both public and private beach clubs, the Old Town, and great restaurants; absolutely perfectly placed in between everything needed for a nice stay in Imperia.
We had a rental which they parked for us in the backyard. Streets are narrow, so a huge car is not recommended, but that's the Italian charm. We had a small-sized estate, which we had no problem getting there.

Had such a lovely weekend stay with my boyfriend at this hotel, the breakfast was so nice and the staff were so friendly and helpful when we needed to try and get a train back to the airport. The room was really clean and the free mini bar was a nice touch, I would definitely stay again!

Imperial stay
Excellent service and conveniently located near the beaches and restaurants. Do not arrive in a big car. Very tight driving up the hill to the hotel. Breakfast was well worth it. Delicious!

I stayed two days there at Ariston hotel and I really enjoyed the staying. The room was very cleaned and organized.

The rooms are spotless with newly refurbished bathrooms, the breakfast spread is always delicious, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and lots of great restaurants. Can’t recommend it enough!

The Manager was very accommodating and allowed us to store some meat in his freezer. Hotel was very handy for everything we wanted to do. Staff very friendly and helpful.
