Hotel Corallo in Imperia

spent here just a night but the place was super clean, slept properly, breakfast was really yummy

On one level, we are quite familiar with Porto Maurizio, having made day trips there for some 35 years. The objective has always been one of our favorite restaurants, Lanterna Blu. But the restaurant is rarely open for lunch now and the Trenitalia schedule returning us to Alassio shuts down around 2130! A good excuse for an overnight stay. The Corallo turned out to be a peasant selection. It is an immaculate and somewhat modernized 3 star with some 4 star touches. Our room, 404, has wraparound balconies, both a large tub and a rainwater shower, a very large and comfortable bed and a big flat screen television. One English language station (BBC) is better than none. The all white decor is a bit bland for us. But the hotel's high ocean front perch is quiet and inspiring. Breakfast was quite good, and would have been even better if the tasty scrambled eggs and bacon weren't at room temperature, sitting in an untended closed tray at 9 AM. Fine coffee, pastries, juice and yogurt were a positive. The main elevator is rather small, but not a problem for a one night stay. he front desk personnel were helpful if a little detached. Of course, we were merely overnight guests. Porto Maurizio is a charming town, and this is a convenient and desirable address. There is a decent beach below and an in house restaurant that we only tried for breakfast.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. From the moment of arrival, the experience was fabulous! The young woman at reception was so professional and friendly and our room, facing the sea, with a wrap around balcony, was sensational. The decor is ultra modern and very chic, The rain shower in the bathroom was heaven on a stick! To lie in bed and see and hear the sound of the water added to the experience. The bed was super comfortable and the room was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Very decent hotel, the bedroom was renovated, however the small and unpractical badroom was not.
Location is superb.
Can't comment on the breakfast as we did not make us of that.

Very nice place near the city center, little balcony on the ocean, very welcoming people, very helpful, nice bedroom, clean, a bit small but has everything you need.

A gorgeous hotel, superb location

A great few days spent by the sea midway through a road trip from the UK. Good value no nonsense hotel with friendly staff with good English spoken. Pleasant restaurant. Across the road to a family-friendly beach club. Bookable parking another benefit.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable.
