Hotel Splendid in Diano Marina

We had a wonderful stay at this well-maintained, family-friendly 3-star hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they genuinely care about families. The hospitality was excellent, and the entire property felt welcoming and well-kept. The property has fantastic amenities, and the hospitality was excellent throughout our trip.

The food here is absolutely outstanding -- truly the highlight of our stay! Just a short walk to the beach, with bikes available for the whole family and a cosy swimming pool to relax in. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, even if it wasn't needed -- the cleaning standard here easily beats many 4 and 5-star hotels I've stayed in. Impressive variety at meals and genuine care from the staff make this place special. Already considering making this a regular holiday spot.
I love Italy -- and who doesn't love Italian food?
Don't you like Italian food? - don't come!
Speak English only! - and expect Italians speak English? - don't come!
You are Italian speaking - don't look further, you found your spot.
Ukrainian national? - don't hesitate to try real Italian food in this establishment.

I see 95% guests are Italian and I see why, they don't serve here junk food, so if you care about healthy eating for your family you in the right place.

Bikes are available for adult guests and pushchairs for little children waiting for you.

Extra bonus for Ukrainian speakers: Some restaurant staff are Ukrainian speakers, so you can get excellent advice on choices of food, especially if you have specific dietary requirements and healthy food is a priority.

This place is missing only one "thing" for me - a bit of "Italian music" during dinner. (I like Italian music).
But if you like quiet time with family, this place is perfect.

**🌟🌟🌟🌟☆ — Great Stay at Hotel Splendid, Diana Marina!** We had a lovely stay at **Hotel Splendid** in Diano Marina. The experience was mostly positive, with a few minor things to keep in mind depending on your needs. ### 👍 What we loved: * **🏖️ Private Beach** – Clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. A real highlight! * **🏊 Swimming Pool** – Great for a quick dip, cosy atmosphere, well maintained. * **🍝 Excellent Menu** – The food was delicious every day, with generous portions and plenty of variety. A real credit to the chefs! ### 😐 Neutral Observations: * **🗣️ Language Barrier** – Staff mostly speak Italian. Some Ukrainian speakers are available in the restaurant, but if you don’t speak Italian, communication may be a bit limited. * **🚶 Accessibility** – The hotel is four floors high. There is a lift, but it's a bit unpredictable, so most guests use the stairs. May not be ideal for those with mobility issues. ### 🤫 Not really a negatives, but... * There’s **no background music** in the restaurant or reception, which made it very quiet. Personally, we didn’t mind – it added to the calm atmosphere – but others might find it a bit too silent. I didn't drive but see parking might be a issue after reading other people reviews and seeing parking is always full. ### ✅ Overall: A clean, friendly and charming hotel with amazing food and a perfect beach location. Just be aware of the stairs and language differences. If you’re after a peaceful Italian seaside escape, this place is ideal! **Would we return?** Definitely considering it! 🇮🇹💙

I stayed at the Hotel back in September with my family and we couldn't have asked for a Better experience. Everything was perfect since the beginning. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy as well as the swimming pool and the common areas. The staff was friendly but attentive and the food absolutely tò die for. An overall Amazing experience which I would recommend tò anyone.

This was our first time at the Hotel Splendid and we have to stay this is a beautiful hotel and perfect to explore Liguria. Lovely hotel and an excellent stay. The food was very tasty with a fab view from the terrace and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a perfect location.
