Baia Blu Rta in Lerici

We booked this hotel for a longer stay, but were literally running away after two nights - the whole Baia Blue stay was awful, the worst hotel experince in Italy ever: extremely rude and hostile personnel, pictures on the website have nothing to do with reality as apartment we got was very unfresh with old, broken furniture, stains on the walls, black stains in the bathroom (mold??), stains on pillows, not a working safety locker etc. We decided to shorten our stay as we were very dissapointed by the quality of the apartment provided - hotel personnel turned being completely agressive, hostile and hateful claiming the hotel is very nice and we as guests are simply wrong….After a long unpleasant negotiation and unacceptable behavior of hotel staff, we agreed on leaving earlier by paying one extra night - we wanted to leave this hotel as soon as possible and also found much better alternatives same day. So our advice is to avoid this hotel by all means!

Stayed at Baia Blue a few nights and it was a very, very unpleasant experience. The hotel did not at all match expectations with very basic standards. Our room did not even close look like the nice photos on the hotel web site, the furniture & facilities are very simple and outdated and, in addition, the staff were extremely unfriendly and not the slightest consumer oriented. When pointing out things not working in the room or being according their site and wanting to leave earlier, the staff became very hostile and unfriendly, literally explaining it is entirely our problem if we do not like their facility. During all my travel across the world in business and pleasure, including many previous trips to Italy, I have never met such rude and unfriendly client attitude. Of course we left earlier than planned and ended up in a much better hotel. In addition, this poor hotel with zero value for money is located on a hill with a very steep walk to the nearest beach as well as to the closest town and it is not for everyone to walk around in the area. Mind also that the closest surroundings and room is full of mosquitoes in summer time. Italy has so many nice hotels with great service, so it would be a total waste to stay here.

Awful place asked for a less filthy room and told hotel full which was a lie. It’s the worst place in over 50 trips to Italy would strongly advise avoiding this place it’s also over a mile from the tow of Leici. The manager was very rude and forceful on arrival

Terrible place looks like a tourist village or colony for children poor buffet small beach packed in like sardines!! Save your money!! There are better and cheaper places!! It's a shame there were so many expectations but the place doesn't even deserve one star
