Basic typical accommodation, clean bed and that's what I'm comfortable with. Bring your own shampoo & conditioner. Expect some steep road to get there.

If zero stars we possible. . .

We booked two nights with them, but eight days before we arrived they canceled our second night via email that went to our spam. We arrived sweating from having to walk 400m uphill with suitcases (the downside to having no cars in Riomaggorie) only to be rudely told that we had only one night! They told us - in barely audible English - that we were the problem and that we could find another hotel and there would be no refund. A quick google search reveled that there was not any opening in town and this was the only option . This is when things went from bad to worse. At this point, my wife started to cry only to berated by the desk attendant for crying about the problem. Is the the kind of service you get for 100€ a night?

We eventually were offered one night with a double bed and the next night on a single bed (where I spent the night on the floor!)

As I write this, I can hear down the hall the desk attendant yelling at others. If you want to ruin your vacation book a room here.

Truly a one-star hotel with zero-star service. Staff was rude, loud, and spoke very poor English. We could hear the desk clerk yelling at other guests in Italian from our room down the hall as well as the bell in the town ringing every hour.
We booked one night then emailed them again to ask if we could book one more night (a few months in advance). They said yes and we printed out the email as proof. Only a few DAYS before our trip, they sent us another email saying that "there was an error" and we could not stay 2 nights. Unfortunately we didn't see the email because we were traveling that day and when we tried to check in, they only had one room available for us. So for the second night we had to change rooms and my husband had to sleep on the floor because the new room was a single bed.
I was tired and exhausted from getting to this city and started to cry at the desk because the staff was so rude. No empathy and the staff member got mad at me for crying and asked WHY I was crying, treating me like I was an idiot for not understanding his "English." I would never, ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms are very moist and smells like mould. Very tight stairs and low openings. The owner/host is bad in english and was snappy and stressed out when he met us. Location is also bad, quite a bit up the hill, but only thing to see out the windows are buildings. We had a non-refundable 2 day stay, but we booked another place anyway.

Locked out . There was nobody there. We had to stand outside and ask locals to help find the manager ss the doors were locked… unacceptable to me.! We did eventually get in after a few hours. The lobby smelled of mold. The room dark and no view, tiny and not clean. The location was ok but would not stay here again mostly because of the poor service/no service and smell.
