The staff are great. We were in a bind, our EpiTourean culinary tour was canceled. We didn’t know until we had arrived at the hotel. Cristina was fantastic. She took care of us. We appreciated the gesture and her kindness so much we decided to stay the week anyway. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a lot of variety.

It was a lovely welcome. The whole team was very friendly. I arrived late for breakfast because I'd been jogging, but they still let me in and prepared a delicious breakfast for me. It also has a rooftop terrace with beautiful views.Thank you to the entire team. It was an amazing summer.

Beautiful hotel with old-style furniture, wonderful garden, with piano and swimming pool. Internet quality was poor.

The only great thing about this place is its location. The staff is unfriendly and uneducated, both front office and restaurant. Breakfast was a joke. Dry Italian pastries. It is truly an insult to the Italian cuisine. But the worst was the room. Outside it was 25 degrees dring the day, but inside our room it was so hot. Airconditioning did not work. Shower didnt drain and the bathroom turned into a sauna after showering.
This place was great 50 years ago, but since then nothing has changed. Maids even walked in an old fashioned maid costume

Just few step from bay of silence is the perfect place if you don’t mind a bit dated Hotel. Staff are friendly , breakfast and the pool are the highlights of the hotel. Rooms are not very big but soo like many others hotel in Liguria. Ac could be better. This is my second visit and for sure will not be the last.

This hotel is a waste of time !!!! And Money ! It’s definitely a two star hotel if that ! More like a hostel we paid about $500 a night so I expect five star quality!

Room was so tiny , broken fan in summer took more than three days to try and make the front desk understand we were not making it up ! Aircon !! Well it’s not a real aircon it’s a side fans that sits in front of the heavy curtain. So that was useless.
Bathroom mouldy unacceptable. 😡
Our door- we had to wedge a shoe in the side at night time as any vibration from others doors opening, it would make our door shake!!
Breakfast buffet nothing like the photos on the website! It had no vibe it was like eating breakfast in a morgue !! You could just hear the engine of the fridge ! And took sooo long to get a coffee even when it wasn’t full !
It is absolutely ridiculous how they have so many rules on opening times regarding the gym , and outdoor swimming pool ! People are on holidays they want to swim when they want ! Especially when the evening are sooo hot and the sun goes down at 9pm . It would have been Nice to be able to swim till at least 9pm!
Also use the gym first thing in the morning for example at 6am or 7am not have to wait !
This hotel is so old and antique it’s time to close down .

The best
The best experience at Sestri Levante. We were given an upgrade to a beautiful room near the pool. The staff were fabulous. The rooms sparkling clean. We hope to return next year.

Quirky {in a nice way} rambling hotel in a superb location with beaches on both sides Smallish but more than adequate room with small bathroom but well equipped and kept spotlessly clean Well kept outside areas and clean large pool { although the hotel was full it never seemed busy and there were always secluded areas to sit Very good restaurant for large breakfast and dinner with fast service even for a large group of us - drink prices reasonable Helpful and friendly staff throughout

Rooms are varied in size with minuscule bathroom/showers unless you get an Elegance room or a Suite where the rooms are far better and bathrooms as you would hope for. Food for tours is very hit and miss Breakfast is very good with good choice. Pool area is really good; clean and sea water filled. Location is spot on. Staff are friendly and helpful.
