We stayed three nights in a room advertised for lake view. The actual view is half blocked by a tree. This is very disappointing considering the images at the website. There was a huge bug on bed sheets and blonde hair noted on towels before we started using them. Lastly the hairdryer was broken. After I requested the hairdryer to be replaced, even though the reception staff said they would do it, it just never happened. Air conditioning was unable to be adjusted and the room gets freezing in the evenings.
Overall, it was the worst experiences I have had during my three weeks of travelling in Italy. It was a huge disappointment.

The location is very good, the lake view is beautiful, and the breakfast is also good. This hotel is close to Como lago station, but far from another station, Como S. Giovanni. Please pay attention when buying train tickets from Milan;
It is very close to the cathedral business district and the lake pier, which is convenient for island hopping by boat; the breakfast is also good

The hotel is in a great location, close to the pier. The room was spacious and was upgraded to a lake view room, which was satisfactory.

Nice and considerate staff, kudos to the lady at the front desk who is named Nives. The service is always available, the location is conveniently located. Despite the fact that i had some misgivings regarding the smell of the room (it is okay, but heavily scented somewhat with cleaning products; a pleasant smell of course i can live with but prefer to not have smelled at all), the view here is amazing. Would recommend again for someone who is trying to stay at lake como, a value choice.

But the view is absolutely unbelievable it's beautiful day & night

A nice hotel overall with excellent service, and a great breakfast.
Although we didn't try the bistro, it looks very promising.
The building is old and outdated however, and beside noisy plumbing, it's not a big issue.

Pretty much a dump with a lake view in a good central tourist location. Staff was helpful, but overwhelmed. Old, worn down rooms, paper thin walls, stiff creaky beds. Located above a crowded bus stop that attracts the town’s worst undesirables. Dont expect to enjoy the balcony for the time being, loud jackhammering construction and traffic right in front. To be fair, noise decreased by night time and room was fine during sleeping hours.

Great experience in a lake view room. Room was small however the bed was super comfy and bathroom was waterproof and clean.

This hotel was a great find in Como. The service is excellent. The rooms were nice and very clean. Daily breakfast provided was very good with lots of options. Would recommend when staying in Como as near the water and close walk to shopping, restaurants and ferry dock.
