Beautiful hotel in the very center of Milan. Quite interesting to get there by car, as you are driving through very little streets on tram tracks. Parking by foot only three minutes (longer by car!)

We stayed at Matilde Hotel for the 1st time this October and it was a wonderful 3 days stay. We had 2 rooms for my mum, sister and I. We originally wanted to stay at another hotel but we are glad we stayed here instead

The rooms are HUGE considering Milan's small rooms sometimes, the room is very clean and the location is superb. Karl from the front desk is also super friendly, very kind and one of the nicest we have met

This elegant and charming hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Milan—just a 2-minute walk from the Duomo. You couldn’t ask for a better base to explore the city

At breakfast, one of the (head?) waitresses was verbally berating a junior waiter whilst we were having breakfast. That was quite unprofessional and not a pleasant experience to watch

Very friendly and effective staff, excellent use of technology for site and room access. Great location in the centre of Milan, quiet side street so mostly quiet in the evening

Close to the Duomo, shopping, restaurants, bakeries and a supermarket. Only negatives for us were not great water pressure in the shower and no dishwashing soap in the kitchen

The hotel location is perfect very near to shopping area and Duomo, clean but they don't clean up the room while we hv stayed for 2 nights.

Had a fantastic stay, the room was spacious and well-soundproofed. It's also very new.

The location and in-room facilities both met our expectations. The staff were all very kind, making it a great choice for anyone who enjoys shopping around Milan Cathedral.

Just at the center of the city. 3 mins to the Duomo cathedral and the shopping center. A department store is right behind. It is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Staff service is friendly and genuine

Outstanding location. Very central. Walking distance to most major attractions. We couldn't figure out how to control the air in the room and wifi was spotty. Overall great value.

The position right next to Rinascente and so close to all the best restaurants is ideal even if you go alone or with family. No need to get a cab everything is within walking distance shopping & dining

Netflix, YouTube and amazon prime on the television. It’s a working visit for myself so I haven’t done any tourist activities but it’s right in the heart of the city

Great location in the very center! It is fashionable to say that from the hotel you go straight to the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, to the La Rinascente department store and the Duomo Cathedral

The location is right in the city center, a 5-minute walk to Milan Cathedral, and there is a shopping street downstairs. The room is very design-conscious. The bed is big and the bathroom is spacious. Recommended.

Great hotel right in the centre of Milan. Just a couple of minutes walk to Duomo, Galleria, metro and tram services. My room was really clean with good decor. There was an expresso machine, kettle, with tea and coffee

The only minus was that early in the night there was noise from road cleaning vehicles outside, but has to be expected in such a central location. I would definitely stay here again

the only flaw I would say is the entrance as if you came back using a transportation, like taxi, it will have to stop somewhere close rather than your hotel's doorstep. Not too much of a problem for me though

A very beautiful hotel with a strong sense of art, good service, clean and hygienic. There is a store downstairs with a lot of food and shopping. I will book this hotel again next time.

This hotel is incredibly unassuming and has so much charm once you’re inside. It is very close to some of Milan’s attractions and to the metro/tram. The service at this hotel is spectacular too

Large suite had everything I needed. Beautiful rooftop deck for views. All the staff from the front desk to the cleaning ladies and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful

Building (not the hotel) seemed to have an ambient propane smell at times when you opened the window. As a room, it is a 3 star hotel at best. Service is good - they seem to have a large team of rotating staff

We recently stayed at this hotel, ideally located right in the heart of Milan, directly on the central square – the location truly couldn't be better! This is an apartment-style hotel, which is incredibly convenient

There was a huge separate walk in area designated for luggage and hanging clothing which left so much more space for us to enjoy the room. The location was perfect and the staff responded in a timely manner

Located directly opposite the Duomo, the view from the room is spectacular. Just be aware that noise from the piazza can be heard at night

The overall space is really small. We were expecting bigger space for the price. Location is very central and walkable to a lot of restaurants, the Duomo and shops.

Daplace Corso Monforte was a quiet property & nice place for our stay. The only issues was the hot water seems to be a bit limited, and it is a bit far (walking distance) from Milano Centrale Station

The checking in process is rather complicated, but everything else is perfect. Beautiful building, rooms are spacious and warm. Very comfortable bad and clean bathroom

The location is great, 10 minutes walk from the cathedral, the subway is right next to it, the hotel is well decorated, simple and modern, clean and tidy

I chose this one because of its super convenient location, but the room was old and the floor was scratched (so I immediately contacted the staff via WhatsApp after checking in to avoid any misunderstanding that we were responsible)! We stayed for four nights! On the second night, the water heater suddenly stopped working while we were showering, and there was no hot water (it was only 9°C outside

com doesn't list tram numbers, and there was a line where the train was out of service due to construction, so I had to change trains twice from Central, which was a pain because it was far from the station

Tram 15 is a six-minute walk away. To get to the Cathedral, it's about five stops away. Apparently, it's Tram 9 to Central. The locks are a bit tricky to get used to, but everything you need is there

We found the apartment easily. Everything was clean inside: dishes, linen, plumbing. There was a complimentary water in the fridge, very nice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Near Brera which is a beautiful area to just walk around and explore! Gets a bit noisy because it’s next to the tram line but it’s not horrible. Apartment is huge but a bit dated

Great location!! 2 stops away to Duomo and walkable too if you’re ok walking for more than 30 mins. There’s a nice pasta place called fisherman pasta just down the road

They enjoy the loft and played hide and seek also there is a basic kitchen so we had fun cooking together in Italy. The picture is taken right in front of the place

Staying in the bustling downtown area, it's very convenient for getting around. The soundproofing of the windows is excellent, so sleeping is very peaceful.

As a family with three children, we really enjoyed being able to get everywhere from the apartment. There were suitable restaurants and shops all around the corner and the cathedral is just 20 minutes away on foot

We stayed here for our first day on our honeymoon. It was fairly difficult to find becuase it is several floors up in a commercial building. but the location is hard to beat

Safe place to stay in fact we left our valuables behind while we went to Como and Marco called us to let us know they were found and will be safetly held till our return

Overall it’s a nice place to stay, very central. The only downside for us were pillows which was very uncomfortable. Also a bit of noise of trams at night which was not a massive issue for us.

During check in ,I asked her what is the best way to go airport from the hotel in the morning, she said we can take subway to central station and there is trains to airport

The room was locared central to the major sites and staff was very helpful with dinner reservations and taxi service to the train station.

Check in was easy even without reception there. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. Noise wasn’t too bad, but could get noisy depending on events outside in the Piazza Castello. We were in room 1 which faces the street
