MClub Alicudi in Sciacca

We honestly expected the hotel to be better. I definitely wouldn't rate this hotel 4 stars. The only thing I would rate 4 stars is the room, which was really nice, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, well-functioning air conditioning, lots of space, nice terrace. Food - almost always the same, small selection of meat, desserts almost all with the same cream. In Italy, I would expect at least tiramisu every day - there was only once during the entire stay. My wife doesn't eat fish or seafood and mainly eats chicken, which was about twice during the entire stay. There were days when she only ate potatoes and grilled peppers for lunch. The beach is really nice, fine sand, plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas, ideal entrance to the sea, no stones. A big plus is the possibility to rent a paddleboard or kayak for free. However, there is also a big minus, which is that it is not possible to use the all-inclusive at the beach bar - so you have to pay for drinks on the beach. Another big minus is that beach towels cannot be changed for free, the fee of 5 euros per towel is a bit expensive if you want a new one every day. To sum it up, we expected more from this hotel, just a nice room is not enough for me to perceive the hotel as a 4 star.
