Hotel Punta Tipa fully adheres to all hotel standards: the reception staff is very polite, the rooms are large and bright, with breathtaking sea views. The hotel has beach access, where you can relax and enjoy the sea on comfortable sun loungers. The varied continental breakfast includes fresh croissants, fruit, toast, and eggs. Recommended for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

A brand new and well-located structure right on the seafront for swimming and suitable for use in Trapani. HIGHLY TRAINED staff in the best Sicilian traditions! Plenty of quality food. We'll definitely be back, even for a relaxing weekend. PS: We're just getting started, otherwise there weren't enough stars... ♥️

This hôtel is noted as à 4 star hôtel but merits ony 2. Thé only positive aspects were( 1) friendly receptionists at thé front desk and (2) Thé sea view with à large terrace. Breakfast was acceptable for thé price of 11€ per person. Though considering thé price of thé room, breakfast should have been included. Thé coffee machine in Europe's coffee capital Italy, was not upto Italian standard.Coffee quality was poor. Thé large terrace of our room was completely empty,No outdoor furniture at all..not even à chair or à small table. The terrace also gave on to the main road on one side. Thé room was small for à 4 star hôtel. Thé shower was à disaster..only à shower head with à glass partition too small. Thé déck area in front of thé restaurant was dévoid of all furniture too The restaurant was closed for all meals except breakfast. This may have been thé low season (November)but thé room ratés were certainly not low. Water bottles in thé room were not complimentary.. 2€ per small bottle. Shame on the management for not being à little more generous with guests. Thé hôtel is à 25 minute walk to thé historical centre.

I just read a ridiculous review where the author claims it’s dangerous (“across the street from a ghetto”), complaining that the beach smells (yes, like seaweed), expensive ( purely subjective of course but how many hotels in the world offer magnificent terrace views for 175 a night?), and, stupidest of all, complaining that all she could watch was Italian television! She says she didn’t feel safe! I guess Sicily is not for spoiled gringos! But I like the Sicilian people and the funky vibe and the food. And the hotel is just fine.

Punta Tipa is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing sea view. Reception is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a classic room which was more than adequate, nice and spacious, big bathroom as well. Lovely breakfast included. The restaurant also serves delicious food and the view is breathtaking. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel when you are visiting trapani.

Nice deck overlooking the ocean and pool. Modern hotel. 30 min walk to town and 30 minute walk to the gondola. Nice walking and biking path just outside the hotel along the main road and ocean. Hotel is beside the busy main road, in the middle of nowhere. Room was small. Good breakfast. Pretty average dinner the seared tuna at €18 was overcooked and not very flavourful. Restaurant staff efficient but not overly friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights in October. I was initially concerned by some of the reviews here, so was a bit apprehensive when I arrived. I found the hotel very clean, the private beach was quiet and wasn't dirty as described by some travellers. Perhaps it's because October is not peak time. The hotel's minibus shuttle bus service is useful. It's walkable from the hotel to Trapani town centre, along the beach, though it's a little far for me. I've always found it a problem in Italy to get a taxi back to a hotel once you're out and about, even in big cities. At Punta Tipa, you can phone the hotel reception and ask for their taxi/minibus to pick you up -- just need to describe where you are. I had dinner at the hotel's own restaurant one evening. Food was good but a little on the expensive side. Good panoramic view from the hotel's private beach, relaxing on deck chairs or comfy sofas.

Hotel a 30 minute walk from the old town but they do provide a shuttle bus service in and out, although it does not run very late. Area surrounding the hotel appears partially derelict. The food and service was excellent but the main downfall are the rooms. There are no drawers or shelves for clothes so you have to live out of your suitcase. Luckily we were only staying for 3 nights but it was still a pain. Also there were no hooks to hang wet coats or wet towels swimming costumes and the like so we had to utilise door handles and the like gir this function.

It a new hotel, far from the city but a very nice place to stay. It’s on the beach and has a restaurant. You don’t need to go out to eat.

Safe and clean property, with great free parking options. We included the buffet breakfast option, which was a great addition with many options. Bedding was overall very average and not particularly comfortable.
