Riva del Sole Resort & SPA in Castiglione della Pescaia

We enjoyed Riva del Sole very much. We had a nice and clean room, staff was very friendly. Beachtowels and beds ready to enjoy a morning at the sea.

We had a fantastic stay at Riva del Sole this summer! Unlike last year, all our requests were fully respected, and we were delighted to have an apartment right next to my parents-in-law, which made our holiday even more enjoyable.

The resort is located in a beautiful pine forest, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything can be done by bike, which makes getting around easy and pleasant. The swimming pool is stunning and perfectly maintained, and the spa area is a real bonus for relaxing. The nearby beach is beautiful, and we also really appreciated the quality and variety of products available at the resort’s grocery store.

As a small suggestion for the future, it would be great to upgrade the bedding in the apartments and add blackout curtains in the main living area for better comfort.

Overall, everything was perfect — from the location to the facilities and the service. We highly recommend Riva del Sole for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

Our family has just spent a wonderful week staying at the Riva del Sole. I can't speak highly enough - the hotel rooms are bright, clean, quiet and well designed, the resort has fantastic restaurants, bars and shops, the location is on a beautiful beach near to Castiglione with some great places to eat, but most of all I want to give a shout out to the amazing staff at the resort. We experienced a significant issue on arrival in Italy, and although it was nothing to do with the hotel, the staff could not have been more dedicated to helping us. From the reception staff, to the wonderful Guest Relations team (especially Nicola!), and even the General Manager spend several hours of his time helping us with the situation. The customer service beat that of some world-class 5 star hotels! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I recently spent a week at this venue. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially David at the small bar. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The only missing touches were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and an English speaking News Channel on the TV. A couple of the facilities - the swimming pool and beach bar - were not operational but that is understandable so early in the season. The food available at breakfast and dinner was good and plentiful. However, we had booked half-board and that actually worked out more expensive than pay as you go each night in the Restaurant - a wee bit strange. For a couple of reasons we had not booked a car and that was a mistake. Although the Hotel advertises the availability of Car Hire at Reception none were to be had and we would have had to have gone back to the Airport to arrange one. Nevertheless, the bus services into the nearest towns are very good and from there you can catch a train to a number of other places. Cost of both bus and train are very reasonable.
