Agriturismo - B&B L'Acquacotta in Castiglione della Pescaia

We stayed at the L'Acquacotta for an entire week and loved the owners hospitality and wonderful setting of this tuscan paradise.

We stayed in a separate room in the garden which felt like our own private condo, big room with a large bathroom and (super important) a well-functioning air conditioning! The rooms were cleaned every day and we fresh towels provided. We could sit outside on our own little terrace and enjoy the view into the garden and the pool at night. Gorgeous setting which we miss a lot!

The pool is big and the pool area is all we needed when we hung out on the first day to get settled in. Getting to the beach is a short 10 minute drive. Many outstanding restaurants within a short drive - if you are looking for an outstanding vegetarian or vegan restaurant, don't miss out on Il Bivio Trattoria da Fedio https://goo.gl/maps/enFtamDipU8Rrv8y9, 4 km away from the L'Acquacotta - what a wonderful setting and amazing foods. Need reservation!!!

The breakfast is rich and the coffee is great, fresh fruit and juice every morning, everything is happening in the beautifully arranged sitting area outside. Edoardo (owner) has placed a large fridge with drinks in this common area which are available all day and which can also be used to keep a bottle of wine we bought cold!

We enjoyed the optional meal one night which was cooked by Edoardo and loved that he is not only a superbe host but also a fantastic chef!

We will return to this hidden paradise as soon as we can and are grateful for the lovely experience.

The villa, the wonderful garden, the swimming pool with the option of bringing dogs (obviously poolside, not inside, but this is not a given, and is highly appreciated), the ability to leave them in the garden without a leash, free to run, the location, just a few minutes from the center of Castiglione della Pescaia, and, last but not least, Edoardo's kindness, courtesy, and professionalism, make this B&B a place I highly recommend! I would only recommend updating the rooms a bit, as they are spacious but a bit dated, and varying the breakfast a bit, with homemade cakes and jams, yes, but always the same ones.

Beautiful and so welcoming. Hard to find the main entrance in the dark. Google takes you to the staff entrance as the guest entrance is on a private road. Lovely experience would have loved to stay longer.

He does not know to apologize because messed up the booking. I give you 5 star, because you are crying like a baby. Customer service is still 0.

A fantastic place to stay, with fantastic hosts! We stopped for 3 nights on our honeymoon roadtrip, and would 100% recommend.
