I had a great stay here and I will gladly stay here on my next visit to Firenze. Modern appointed and very clean rooms/ facilities. My host Mrs. Lara, is very caring, never got tired of my many questions. It is with her many "good tips" / insider suggestions/ recommendations that I was able to accomplish what I came to do during my stay. To feel at home and to experience Firenze authentically.

This BnB is at an amazing location just outside Firenze's centre, with a great supermarket nearby. Lara and Lorenzo are kind, helpful and made our stay better than imaginable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and provided perfect suggestions, including where to eat, shop and see the sights. The rooms were clean and each equipped with their own bathroom while breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, with a wide selection. Grazie!

Choosing this hotel was the best choice.The staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious.The hotel is easily accessible from the center of Florence, and there are supermarkets, laundromats, and delicious restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was also plentiful and satisfying. Staying at this hotel made my trip to Florence more enjoyable.

Lara was a fantastic host at Il Grillo di Firenze! She was the kindest and most caring person we dealt with on our entire trip to Italy. She immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable, and gave us a map with all the best locations to visit in Florence. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside of this property is that it is slightly far from the main downtown area of Florence. However, there is a tram that will take you directly to the area in about 10 minutes. Thank you for everything Lara!

Il Grillo was clean, quiet, and conveniently located on the tram line close the city centre and close to the airport. Lara, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful, cozy stay at Il Grillo di Firenze! The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, yet still close enough to reach the main sights easily. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the atmosphere felt so warm and homely. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Florence! 🌸

Lara was a fine host. Allowed early access and ensured we had a breakfast bag to go when we had to leave early. The room was clean and quiet. Note the bathroom is a little cramped.

I had the most wonderful stay at Bed & Breakfast Il Grillo Di Firenze. Lara and her husband were truly amazing hosts; warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with all the information I needed. The room was comfortable, clean and the mattress made for a great night’s sleep. Each morning I enjoyed breakfast, and Lara always prepared a perfect cappuccino. She was so kind and lovely to chat with, which made the experience feel even more special. I also appreciated the location, away from the overly touristy areas, yet still very convenient for exploring Florence. I can’t wait to return to Florence and stay here again.
