This property consists of one floor of an older apartment building. The elevator is small but adequate, and the rooms are old and charming. I was very comfortable.

Super close to Firenze Santa Maria Novella, the main train station in Florence. From Old Florence Inn, one can easily walk to the city’s main attractions. The breakfast provided in the room each day is adequate, but a coffee machine available around the clock is a very nice perk.

Perfect for a short weekend. Great location right at the heart of everything, absolutely perfect for getting around to see everything Florence has to offer. Hotel is clean and rooms are serviced daily. Breakfast is a basic continental which is in the room and topped up every day. Hotel is fairly basic and a little outdated but perfectly fine for a weekend away. Being so central and close to the train station the road is noisy but it’s the sacrifice for being so close to everything

It was a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the breakfast tray set up in our room the night before, access to coffee anytime and an elevator!

Fantastic hosts. Nice room, a bit hard to find if you’re geographically . Near the train station (see photo) Breakfast is very simple continental in room Grocery store and bakery nearby. Close to many other attractions and museums. Automatic shutters close and you’re off to dream land

Have just spent 3 nights here with my wife. Cannot recommend the Old Florence enough. Ideally positioned to be able to visit all the major attractions. Literally no more than 3 minute walk to the railway station. We stayed in room 7 which overlooked a courtyard. There was a bit of noise first thing in the morning but not enough to give us cause for concern. The room was big enough, warm enough and the en-suite suitable. The breakfast tray was enough to set you up for the day. There is a very well stoked supermarket literally 3 doors away from the hotel. Our host provided some great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Just a word of warning though to anyone planning on visiting Florence on a Monday, most of the major tourist attractions are not open on Mondays so make sure you plan well in advance, pre-book your tickets for the places you want to visit.
