LHP Hotel River & Spa in Florence

A very nice hotel. The jacuzzi was a real treat. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were incredibly attentive.

Stayed at LHP river & spa twice. They couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful and the rooms were very clean with nice amenities.
The breakfast they serve is fabulous, with fresh home baked goods and cooked on premises roasted veggies, cheeses, frittatas and smoked salmon. The location is wonderful as it is away from the hoardes of tourists. If you are too lazy to walk a bit for the peace and the views (like some negative posts) go elsewhere.

LHP Hotel River & Spa is absolutely beautiful with stunning finishes and elegant design. The service and ambiance were truly 5-star. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco upon arrival, which was such a nice touch.

The spa is fully equipped-perfect for a relaxing massage and some time in the hot tub. Breakfast offered plenty of delicious options to start the day right.

The location is fantastic, with an amazing view of the river and within walking distance to great restaurants and historical sites. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!

Booked a hotel down the road, got locked out due to "system error"

Called LHP at 2am, the 24h concierge picked up and helped me book the last room they had available. Spend 2am-10am at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel—truly five-star quality in both service and amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable and enjoyable. A special thanks to Adil, who was incredibly attentive and helpful, especially with assisting my wife, who has a disability. He made it so much easier for us to get in and out of taxis and navigate with the wheelchair.

We also greatly appreciated the massage service from Daniella, a skilled and kind masseuse who made my wife feel very well cared for. And Constanza was excellent in helping us plan activities and explore the best of Florence.

The hotel itself is very clean, the spa is lovely, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make drinking water more accessible for guests—perhaps a self-serve water station. Currently, you either have to ask staff for it or buy bottled water, which feels a bit inconvenient for such a basic necessity.

One thing to note: the air conditioning is seasonal and wasn’t available during our stay in early spring. I hadn’t realized that ahead of time, but honestly, opening the windows at night brought in a lovely chill and kept the room cool and comfortable. Just something to keep in mind depending on the time of year you visit.

That said, this did not take away from our experience at all. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again!

Room is clean and modern. The bathroom is well designed and Spacious. The service at the breakfast is very friendly and great.

There are people walking and working just outside of my window, so I had to keep the curtain closed. It’s not very convenient.

There is a kettle and a coffee machine in the room. But no free bottles of water provided.

Overall, it was a nice stay. I will give it a solid 4 star.

One of the best hotels I've been. I was here around the 20th of December, where it was prety cheap. The people are really funny and friendly here. Definetly had a great experience here with a colleague. The rooms were great. And the spa is amazing. Especially with Daniella who gives a very warm welcome and gave a lovely massage. Really kind and loving person! Really all of them were lovely. I will definetly go here again when I'm in Firenze. Cheers, Daniël
