Lovely family run, hotel. We felt at home. The location was near the train station. 20mins away from Academia gallarey. For 27mins away from Uffizi artmuseum. 25mins to Mercato Centrale. To Venice, there are high way bus servuces from "Villa Costanza bus terminal". we used a tram from the stop call" Porta Al Prato-Leopolda". It was only 5-7mins walk from the hotel. とても安心して泊まれるホテルでした。私達の他にも日本人観光客が泊まっていました。部屋は、トイレ、シャワー室が兼用で、シャワー室は透明なガラス戸、ドライヤー、デビ(おしりを洗う場所) タオルレールヒーター、ボディソープ、石鹸、ヘアキャップ、ドリンクが設置されてました。また、タオル、バスタオルも人数分完備ベッドのある部屋は広めに感じました。エアコン、小さい冷蔵庫もあります。 4人1室と家族全員同じ部屋であったのはありがたかったです。 2泊朝食バッフェ付きで、しかもブリスタの、カプチーノ等本格コーヒーが楽しめ、シリアル、サラダ、からスクランブル、ゆで卵、ソーセージ、ケーキ、ホットケーキといったバラエティの豊富でした。ありがたいことに、チェックアウト後に、荷物を預かって下さったのでフィレンツェ最終日も観光をのびのび楽しむ事ができました。

Poorly cleaned. Very small room. View to wall and messy backyard. Very simple breakfast. Stayed for 5 nights and asked for other room but they said there was none, even though I samband there were other rooms available online. Breakfast staff was nice. Would not stay here again.

You have a private parking just in front of the hotel.
They provide free water for all of us to visit the city (very hot day)

We stayed in the hotel for 5 days, staff are very nice and try to accommodate you, the sheets , towels are clean, beds are not comfortable, it is so soft because it has soft mattress on top. As far as location, it is located in quiet street but it is not in good area. One side of it toward train is not good for walk , no place for pedestrians and watch putt for cars. Breakfast is just good to eat slice of bread, it seems they cook hard boiled eggs once for couple days so it is not fresh, the fruits except apple and banana are can fruits. Coffee is good. There is always smell in the evening in the entrance hall and walls are not so clean. In general the hotel is 3 stars. But the receptionists are always so nice.

I am currently staying at this hotel, booked 5 nights due to a conference in the city but I am sorry to say I regret it and cannot recommend it to solo travellers. - Very small room and bed. Feels like a poor hostelroom. -poor ventilation and aircon - No view, cannot see the sky and tell what weather it is. Windows open to a dirty and messy backyard/stone walls. - Poor cleaning - Bed cover with lots of old stains - Dirty walls and doors - No suitable/comfortable place to work on computer + one of the receptionists when I arrived was nice and friendly as well as the breakfast staff + the bathroom is big + there is yoghurt, fresh strawberries and good cappuccino at breakfast. + location is good, close to central station The double rooms look better in pictures but when I asked for another room the receptionist just told me there was nothing else available and did not even ask why I wanted to change. There are so many other hotels in this city, in every street. I would recommend you to choose any of those!

This family run hotel is very nice and at a good price for Florence. Rooms were a reasonable size for Florence. The bathroom was good and the bed comfortable. The room was very clean. Breakfast was included and had cooked and continental options. Staff were very friendly and helpful

This hotel provides all the basics and more. Updated rooms with a large bathroom and bidet. Refreshments and a breakfast were included in my stay. The staff were wonderful, friendly, encouraged us to stay and rest longer even after checkout. We had an emergency overnight stay and had to remain in the area unexpectedly. The most helpful part of this experience was finding this hidden hotel gem, having such a warm and welcoming experience, which left us feeling more positive for the remainder of our Italy trip. Bravo!

This is a family-run hotel a short walk from the S. M. Novella railway station, the historic centre of Florence, and quite near to the Ponte Vecchio. It's an ideal base for visiting Florence, particularly as the organised day-trips by tour companies start and end at the railway station, a real bonus when some start just after 7am. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. Our room was 302, and was very clean and comfortable, particularly the bed, the best sleep on a two-week trip to several locations across Italy. Breakfast was good and ideal for a day of walking. Our only issue was other guests, two nights sharing the same floor as some Americans who kept their doors open so that they could shout conversations to each other across the corridor, came in late whooping and slamming doors, and were generally a nuisance to be nearby to. The staff were quick to advise them to keep the noise down whenever they heard them. That aside, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Magenta and it has all that you need for a city break in Florence.

Don't stay here! Photos are misleading. Pros - Receptionist was friendly and helpful re: places to visit, restaurants etc. Cons - Horrendous odour from drains. We left after 1 day as we couldn't stay in our room because of this. Other issues: The single USB point in the room didn't work. The bathroom sink plug jammed in so sink so sink not usable. Water pressure in shower extremely poor. Bathroom was impractically tiny (not reflected in photos).

This hotel was a lovely walk from the centre of Florence, we found it easily after arriving by train. Checkin went smoothly and we got a room for 4 on the 4th Floor. The room was compact yet had everything we needed with a beautiful view. With 4 people it was too hot even with the aircon but reception kindly gave us a fan which was welcomed and appreciated. The staff gave us lovely recommendations of nearby restaurants. Beds were comfortable and breakfast did the job. Tony the dog was given lots of love by our daughters, he is gorgeous.
