If you're looking for a place to stay in Florence, Martelli 6 Suite & Apartments will be one of the best mid-range options for you if you prioritize proximity to the city's historic heart.
Excellent location as you are literally steps (about 50 meters) from the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore). It is situated right next to Eataly, making it incredibly easy to grab high-quality Italian snacks, wine, or a quick meal. Most major sights (Uffizi, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio) are within a 5-10 minute walk.
The rooms are very neat, spacious are equipped with the basics. We lacked some things like kitchen knifes, can opener. Although the TVs are smart as they come with the apps pre-installed but do not work with the WiFi provided. I had to connect my Amazon Firestick to watch Netflix and other streaming services.
Also we lacked laundry facilities which we needed for the christmas stay.
Tickets for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. While there are not many options the available options were fantastic.
The property has an agreement with Garage Michelangelo, located nearby at Via Ricasoli, 28. The standard rate is approximately €31 per 24hrs.
They are very helpful with luggage storage after check out if you do not plan to depart immediately. Because of the location though temporary parking for loading luggage is difficult if you have a lot.
Notwithstanding, we had an amazing stay and happy to recommend them.

I'll be honest when we first booked it, I didn't think of it as much more than a bed for the night however upon arriving, you realize it's an absolutely again place to stay. We are on a 14 Italy trip , and after going from cramped hotel to Grand hotel, this was a pleasant relief. We ended up getting the studio and it was plenty of room and then some. Some the small conveniences of having a little kitchen and sink area along with a microwave are absolutely underrated. The location is amazing. You are literally a 2-minute walk from the duomo. And Central to pretty much anything else. Honestly, as soon as my wife and I stayed the first night, we contemplated extending our stay in Florence partially because of how nice the hotel was.

Location-perfect. Just a few meter from the Duomo, shops and good choice of restaurant around it. Area is very safe.
Bedrooms-perfect. I would definitely love to have stayed longer. Would highly recommend this place.

Ideal place to stay in central Florence (very close to the Duomo) and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from all the places you will want to see. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, rooms clean and big enough for short stays. Useful to note that these are serviced apartments rather than it being a hotel so you will have explore the many restaurant and food options for meals.

We loved this hotel. The cathedral-like ceiling was breathtaking, and the size of the room more than adequate for a European hotel - our daughters loved the smaller beds and the layout and space was great.

We chose this hotel because of the room type, the location, and access to a lift (elevator) for our luggage.

Overall we're very happy with the stay and would consider staying again in the future.

Great location! Room I had was great for a solo traveler. Not a great view. Peeked into a bigger room/suite and it was much bigger and nicer for a couple. I would stay again. Staff was nice and unobtrusive

Theres 2 variaties of rooms (according to what I know):There are suites (Big rooms with a kitchen too) and small rooms (still quite nice though)
