Overall an excellent stay, friendly staff, super clean room, excellent service, and very convenient location

Great location and service. Our room was perfect for 4 of us. Lots of noise from outside during the night, some nearby residents were partying a good part of the night and then trash collection started just as they went to bed. The location can't be beat, easy walking to everything in the old town. Luggage storage room was very helpful. The shower was very hard for our 81 year old mother, it was quite a step up to get into it and there wasn't much room in the tub (there was a seat at the back but not sure why you'd use that anyway). But we were there only one night so it didn't matter much. Breakfast was good (since it was included in our rate) but you can find a lot out and about too. The recommended parking garage said there was a hotel discount but then didn't honor it. When we return I'll likely look for a better bathroom situation when picking the hotel. But the rooms were clean, wifi was passable, we had a very nice stay

We had an excellent stay at hotel Albergo in Florence. The hotel is perfectly located: close enough to the train station to walk and a 5 mins walk to just about every attraction you can imagine. The rooms were very quiet, spotless, and staff were beyond helpful and so kind. The breakfast was amazing with many food choices and we would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

Great location, clean and very nice, friendly staff. The shower is very difficult to step into and would be my only negative. I probably would not stay just because of that ( I am on the shorter side) but older adults might have a difficult time with it as well.

This is my 3rd time staying at Albergo Firenze. It is a typical city hotel with an extraordinary staff. You can’t beat the location with plenty of great restaurants near by. It is clean, comfortable and never disappoints. I look forward to my next stay with them.

The rooms are old. The breakfast is very bad. They only give you scrambled eggs with sausages that look like they were from yesterday. There was a very unpleasant situation. After checking in, we went to the laundry with a small suitcase. Upon returning, there was a feeling that someone had rummaged through our things. Before leaving for a walk, we took a photo of the state of our things and bags just in case. Upon returning, we saw that someone had rummaged through our backpack. The lock on the suitcase had been damaged. Nothing was missing, since we carry a special case with a combination lock with us, which we put in the safe. When we contacted the reception and provided photo evidence, they first said that they had not entered the room at all, then that they had entered but had not touched it, then that they touched it during cleaning (although there was none). In the end, they said that if something was missing, call the police. And of course, no one apologized. Only trip.com showed concern and tried to sort out the situation. Thanks to them. After that they started hanging up a "do not disturb" sign so that the room would not be cleaned, but no one cared. People still went into the room.

The entrance could use some improvement, and the elevator wasn’t functioning properly during our stay. The rooms were quite basic and lacked comfort, but they were clean and well-maintained. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff—they were warm, helpful, and welcoming. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city center, making it easy to explore the area.

hotel staff was great! Can't stress enough how helpful they were not only with recommendations, but also with helping me correctly pronounce words/phrases.

Hotel is close to all the touristy things you may want to do. Rooms were a good size for our family of 4. beds were comfy. bathroom was nice. (toilet and shower were a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. Water pressure was good, and gets very hot. windows had shutters which helped block out light and street noise (you will still be able to hear what's going on outside).

My family and I had a great experience. would recommend for anyone.

The location is very convenient, relatively quiet, the room is clean and tidy, but there is no toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, or mineral water.
