It was truly an unforgetable stay. Food was perfect. The rooms came with breakfast and dinner. So yummy and we were so full from the amount of food served.
I booked the room which comes with an outdoor private onsen. It was so beautiful. The autumn view was amazing.
All the staff were so friendly and polite.
I would highly recommend this Ryokan if you love somewhere quiet and peaceful to chill. And highly recommended to rent a car if you come here because I don't think the public transport is convenient. They have free parking right in front of the Ryokan.

Clean and quiet

A very comfortable hot spring hotel, with a friendly host, good breakfast, and comfortable hot springs that can be used alone. It is very close to Shuishang Norn Ski Resort, about 15 minutes by car, and Baotaishu Ski Resort, about 50 minutes. There is the only large supermarket in Shuishang near the hotel, so there is no need to worry about having nothing to eat at night.

The service is attentive, the staff is friendly, and you can enjoy a comfortable Japanese-style hotel experience even if you can speak Japanese! And there is a special car to take you to the water station, which is very convenient! Recommended to friends who want to go skiing nearby.

Environment: The room smelled of kerosene. I had a headache and sore throat. I asked to change rooms in the middle of the night. It was much better after changing to another room, but the corridor also smelled of kerosene. Service: The meal time was too fixed. The latest in the morning was 8:00. If you couldn't get up, you could only eat cold breakfast. In addition, dinner was on time at 18:00 and the stall had to close at 19:00. If you arrived late, you still had to eat cold dishes and cold rice. We booked for 5 days, and the side dishes were almost unchanged. The main dishes were basically the same. It's okay to stay for 2 days, but it's not recommended for more than 2 days. The hotel is not very flexible.

2nd stay at micasa after a 1st try in Sept 2023. Decided to come back in December, hoping to also try winter canyoning at Canyons, but not enough snow to do so. Anyway, the stay at Micasa was comfortable, warm, cosy and surprisingly the both meals were very good.
I will come back next time and book the room with its own onsen tub. Can't wait for winter to be back again.
