A little out of the way. 10 minute walk to the station. Rooms are very spacious. We stayed in the suite. Onsen is great. Staff speak English and are very eager to help.

-When we wanted to go to Echigo Yuzawa Ski and Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort, they took us there and picked us up is all free.

very nice and very classy affordable hotel ryoukan i like the view inside the room is so big for family pack we really happy to stay in sakura tei the staff are nice and pver whelming they are friendly kind.. and also we have a private servce going to ski resort and go back to hotel and to station and the rental area is so cheap the food is good only i can say the fish is maybe frozen thats why not fresh and the meat not good but all of that it was great experince staying very nice affordable nice viewing and quite place thankyou sakura tei.. i will go back nextym

Service was absolutely amazing! The two young girls at the front desk from Nagoya spoke really good English and was very helpful. The staff also helped me arrange shuttle to get to the train station very easily. The train station is actually quite close, about 7 min walking distance. The outdoor Onsen was nice and the breakfast had many health options. The only thing that requires improvement is the WiFi: signal is always strong, but sometimes the data just doesn't come in, maybe because there are too many connections running at the same time.

The staff are all polite, helpful and attentive. There are elevators going up and down all floors. There are special buses to JR Shinkansen stations and some ski resorts. Please communicate with customer service to make an appointment. It is elegant and has an antique feel, but the facilities are in good condition and operating normally. Large lockers are provided, which can be used to store snowboards or large luggage when there is no room. The buffet breakfast was okay. Although it was the same every day, it was convenient for us to go back to the room quickly to change clothes and go skiing. The location is close to JR station.

The hotel is not too close to the station, and there is a slope along the road. It's a bit hard to push the luggage. Although you can call the hotel to pick you up, it's a bit difficult when you first arrive. There are not many types of breakfast, and dinner is average. The air quality in the hotel was a bit bad and made my nose feel a bit uncomfortable. There was a small fire in our room on our first day, their lights burned out and the whole room was filled with smoke. However, the hotel was unwilling to let us change rooms at the beginning, so I insisted on changing rooms only at the end. I think the hotel's contingency measures are insufficient.
