Just like last time, it was fantastic!
The customer service was so excellent that I wondered if it was okay to be treated so well. When I was deciding which hotel to stay at, I couldn't forget how kind the staff were to me last time, so I decided to go again!
I often get lost inside the hotel, but Le Vent-le-Kokyo is not too large and is a compact inn.✨They don't allow small children, so it was a very comfortable stay.
Last time, they had the summer menu, and the cold vichyssoise soup was exquisite and unforgettable. This time, they had the winter menu, and the consommé soup was surprisingly delicious. I also enjoyed the caprese, which is a must-try for mozzarella lovers. Thank you for the meal 🙏🏻♡ ˎˊ˗

Le Vent Vert Kogo is a guesthouse located on National Route 17, which runs from Gunma to Naeba, facing Lake Akatani, before the Mikuni Pass.

This renovated guesthouse boasts an all-you-can-eat Italian dinner menu, with free alcohol. It apparently adopted its current format in 2023.

It's like an Italian version of the all-you-can-eat Chinese food found in places like Yokohama Chinatown. The fact that they've implemented this in a hot spring inn is impressive.

And of course, all the food is delicious. The staff service is impeccable. They waved goodbye until our car was out of sight – something I haven't seen since Hakone NICA!

Furthermore, the owner is a huge fan of Koji Kikkawa, and his love for him shines through! If you're a Koji Kikkawa fan, you'll surely have a great conversation with him.

The room furnishings are also impeccable. My only minor complaint is that a hook for hanging bathrobes would have been nice.

They also have seasonal menus, so I'd like to come back in a different season.

I chose the day plan.

Thanks to the attentive service of the staff, I was able to spend a quiet time in a comfortable space.

I enjoyed the aromatic coffee in the lounge, and all the food was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the flavor and texture of the pizza dough.

The water was also rich in calcium and sodium, and after bathing I felt as if my body and mind were being restored.

My only criticism is that if the air conditioning in the building were a little clearer, my stay would have been even more comfortable.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.
