Maruyaso in Fujikawaguchiko

Old and traditional. The room has the Doraemon feel where we all had to sleep on the thin mattress on the floor. Unfortunately our view to Mount Fuji is blocked by a tree I had to get out from my room to take picture of Mount Fuji and it was nice! The Onsen was awesome my boys and girl were having good time in the Onsen small pool. I forgot to take pic on the Onsen.

Nice host , location is good close to resturant and groceries and the have onsen . Perfect and host sent me to bus station . Lovee

I like this accomodation, we did self check in, and it was easy and smooth, the room is clean and cozy and I love it.

This place is great! It looks a bit old from the outside. But the inside is so cute and traditional. You see that the woman who runs this place really takes care of it. I added a picture by this review to show you the amazing view we got from the room right at mount fuji!! So waking up felt like a dream. If you want to experience the traditional Japanese rooms with a great view and a lovely woman who brings you cookies. This is something for you!

This may be a little old hotel but it so japanesse traditional and the view to Mt. Fuji was something great.
Has a big Onsen and it is very calm during the night.
The only weak spots are that the room lock works weird, like hard to understand and make it work and the english is not used by the staff but they were so kind with us to try to understand each other.

The room is very old and it is a hotel run by an old lady. Entering it feels like traveling back to the Japanese dramas of the 80s and 90s! The room has a view of Mount Fuji! The rooms are actually as clean as those of an ordinary home, and the public baths use hot spring water. Normally there aren't that many people staying in the hotel. You can take showers at off-peak hours and still enjoy a large bathroom all to yourself. There are several toilets on both floors. There is no need to worry about fighting for the toilet. The hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from Lake Kawaguchi. It can be said to be very friendly. It is recommended that those who want to experience an authentic Japanese-style hotel can try it. The hotel has free wifi and air conditioning. There is a private car shuttle to Kawaguchiko Station every morning at 8:30 and 9 o'clock. If you miss it, you can take a bus nearby and walk to Kawaguchiko Station, which takes about 20 minutes.

As expected for a B&B, the room has tatami floors and is quite spacious.
The overall house is a bit old and the facilities are relatively outdated. There is a public hot spring bath on the first floor with very good water temperature.
The location is a 15-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, but the location is good, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to walk to the Kawaguchiko Bridge.
The old lady runs the business alone and is very friendly and kind. She gave us snacks and flashlights, which was very heartwarming. She also arranged a mountain view room for us, where we could see Mount Fuji, which was a real surprise.

The transportation is very convenient and there are many places to eat around!

The service attitude is very good and the quality of the hot spring water is guaranteed. Highly recommended
