I stayed in this hotel during snowboarding. The staffs were friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was delightful and the dinner was great. I appreciated the ski and snowboard rental service. The room was very impressive.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Hakuba. Location is a little secluded and without a car, it takes some effort to get to the city or around. We were happy to stay and chill at the hotel though. Opted for half board (Dinner provided) Super convenient with the ski rental on site, and shuttle buses to ski resorts provided. Onsen: newly refurbished and amazing! Breakfast and Dinner : was pleasantly surprised...

Excellent and cozy hotel. However, the receptionist's service was a bit gruff, and my room was dirty. There were a lot of cookie crumbs under the beds, a lot of hair, and almost 20 ladybugs in the room, especially behind the curtains. Aside from the receptionist's service, the rest of the staff were very attentive.

The hotel offers fridge rental service, and during ski season, there's a free shuttle bus to major ski resorts, making transportation quite convenient. There are three restaurants to choose from within the hotel, but unfortunately, one was under renovation this time. The hotel's hot spring provides a wonderfully relaxing space after a day of skiing.

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Happo One Ski Resort, with a free shuttle service making it ideal for winter ski trips. The best part about this hotel was definitely the breakfast – they had everything from Japanese to Western options. I especially loved the soba noodles and the fried eggs. The coffee was good too, and they offered various egg rolls. The room itself was quite spacious; we had no trouble fitting our two large suitcases. However, the bathroom was a bit small, feeling somewhat disproportionate to the rest...

It was a lovely get away and welcomed us with food and onion soup. There was a 24 7 onsen in our room and it was quite relaxing.

Free shuttle for pick and drop off from station and bus terminal. Ski shuttle is convenient at doorstep of hotel.

Check-in and check-out times are really outrageous at this hotel. For what you are paying, I believe, is mainly the hot springs, easy ski rentals (extra fee) and depends if you choose their food or not, but the breakfast is very short time. The rooms look and are very cheap. Their pillows feel like worthy of $10 value. The bathroom area is not dimmable. The check-out time is at 10am unless you pay...

The hotel is a bit old and has many rules, and the view is just average. The Japanese restaurant is decent, but the food is nothing special. It's a bit far from the ski resort. The hot springs are nice and clean, though. The facilities could definitely use an upgrade.

We stayed as a group of 6. Very comfortable, spacious, modern and well equipped place. Nice drying room. Subscriptions on TV. Excellent value compared to equal places in Australia (probably around half the price)

Amazing accommodation, clean, heated floors, well equipped kitchen. Has a ensuite in the master bed, and then seperate bathroom and toilet. Large drying room with washer and dryer. Tea coffee, detergent, washing powder included. They also provided a van which was invaluable for getting around Hakuba. (Apparently they will stop this due to COVID but I hope they don't because it really sets them...

Hotel Abest Hakuba, from a skiers perspective. Staff 5 stars, hotel 2 stars A mixed bag of a hotel. It is not ski in/ski out, as claimed on some websites. The walk to the lift station is a few hundred yards uphill and can be challenging in snow and ice. There is no housekeeping, let alone daily, again as claimed on some websites. You have to get clean towels at reception and the rooms are not cleaned...

Actually didn’t went here but we requested for a cancellation twice and the hotel didn’t get back to us.

We really loved our stay here for 5 nights in February. Cozy, friendly and a super well organised set up for skiers and boarders (including arrival pick up and drop off from bus stop). We had a 6 person family traditional room for only 2 of us, so lots of space and the ability to sleep on doubled up futons, which was fine for us. I had a great stay here. Location is great, less than 5 minutes from the Iwatake slopes. They have a ski-in/ski-out facility - a rear door leads to a snow-covered path that leads to the slopes. Tatami beds. Great onsen within the hotel, with indoor and a lovely outdoor bath. Staff are warm and helpful. Would stay again.

Fantastic location, 3 minute walk to Iwatake ski fields, rooms and facilities are clean and tidy, staff are phenomenal so friendly and accommodating 👌🏼

3 minutes walk to Iwatake gondola lift. On site dinners are delicious. Onsen is really nice. Facilities are a bit old but well maintained. Staffs are very friendly. Only downside is that there are not many restaurants around here.

The staff seemed to be mostly part-time foreigners; they were very friendly and had a strong service attitude. The facilities include a hot stone sauna and a private hot spring!
