Bathing facilities were good, both indoor and outdoor facilities. Buffet breakfast had both Japanese and western food. Hotel picked you up/dropped you off from Hakuba Bus terminal
Best hotel you can get there. Near the kokusai lift, rhytm rental. Very good breakfast!
There are three restaurants to choose from within the hotel, but unfortunately, one was under renovation this time. The hotel's hot spring provides a wonderfully relaxing space after a day of skiing
Hakuba Tokyu Hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Happo One Ski Resort, with a free shuttle service making it ideal for winter ski trips
Opted for half board (Dinner provided) Super convenient with the ski rental on site, and shuttle buses to ski resorts provided
The hotel offers fridge rental service, and during ski season, there's a free shuttle bus to major ski resorts, making transportation quite convenient

Rooms were not serviced unless you wanted to pay a daily rate. Recycle bins in the hallway for cans and bottles. This was good as if we couldn't recycle, the bin would have been overflowing in the room after 4 nights
Convenient Location but Spartan Room
Very good location in town center (about 10 minute walk to ski lifts), but room was very basic
Small fridge big enough for drinks and breakfast supplies. Little cakes provided in fridge on day of arrival that was a nice feature and very delicious (little cheesecakes). Reason for a rating of 3 was the location
2 made for us and the 3rd just a mattress - not very appealing. I didn't realise the shared bathroom was an onsen so we had no shower in the room. Towels were paper thin and small
Beds were hard and pillows were straw on one side and stuffing on other side. It's a traditional Japanese pillow but not good if you are not accustomed to a hard pillow
They don't focus on hotel service; they're putting all their effort into the restaurant on the first floor.

Room was clean, a bit small for what we booked. Breakfast was okay, mix of Japanese and Western. The onsen was the real highlight — so refreshing after a day out. Even without snow, Mominoki was a great base
Stayed late June to see the stunning Itawake view. No skiing, just soaking in Hakuba’s nature. Hotel was peaceful, surrounded by trees — perfect for relaxing walks. Staff were friendly and super helpful
I am very satisfied with this hotel, the location is great, the staff is friendly and the room is comfortable. The room was very comfortable in terms of lighting, temperature and bedding
I would especially like to praise the housekeeping sister for keeping the room very clean. The room has two terraces, one of which overlooks the Happo-One Ski Resort
We stayed for six nights and the breakfast food was roughly the same every day, but also rich. We had dinner at different restaurants in the hotel on three nights
We had a wonderful time. Our plans were canceled due to the rain, but the hotel was great.
I'd love to stay here again.
Thank you for your help.

There are many free buses to various ski resorts near the hotel. If you take the bus, you should get off at Goryu Hotel to avoid walking uphill with your luggage
Large room, nice place, clean and quite. But my room is far from the lobby. If you have a heavy baggages, not easy (there’re few stairs before elevator)
Awesome hotel, outdoor hot springs! The room is clean and comfortable, the food is OK, the ice cream is delicious, there are many monkeys on the tree in front of the hotel, it's very interesting, downhill is Happo-one
I have to praise the high-quality guests and front desk of the hotel. The child forgot his watch when taking a hot spring bath at night, and found it at the front desk the next day
Only negative was variety of breakfast and dinner buffet was not good and by the 7th day we where pretty over it, not a problem for dinner with food options 5 mins down the hill but a little hard during breakfast when nothing is open and you want to head to the lifts
The food is delicious. The large bathhouse is not a hot spring, but it is OK and clean. The staff are quite professional and the service is good. Among the several chains, the Baima one has the best value for money.

The facilities were what stood out at this hotel, from the complimentary red bean soup and crackers post-ski, to the beautiful public and private onsen with free ice pop and coffee milk, to the ping-pong table that our boys enjoyed in the evening
We booked the evening meals package with Ctrip which made it very convenient to have dinner in the hotel. The food was delicious although there was too much of it and it took 90mn to complete the course
The family amenities are very thoughtful. They offer a children's menu for dinner, a snow play area for kids in the yard, and complimentary popsicles are available after enjoying the hot springs.
This is a fantastic low key hotel. Great service especially the free flow wine in the lounge and the free flow hot food out front (oden, green curry, miso soup etc. Warms you up nicely apres ski
The Western food and service were both good. However, the kids' menu didn't change much. The Japanese food selection wasn't very extensive.
Awesome resort. Have free refreshments after ski and at night.

Stayed here for 8 nights, the hotel staff are super friendly! The onsen is excellent and breakfast has a good variety, close to Iimori and hakuba 47 bus stop and short walk to the local Happo lift
The public onsen was wonderful, with a beautiful Roten (outdoor) bath - would definitely recommend staying here just for one night to experience the bath. Plenty of option at breakfast (Western & Japanese)
The only recommendation i would ha e for the hotel is to have a Room tvs that have access to streaming services such as netflix or phone projection connectivity. Thank you again Hotel Goryukan!
Staff were friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service that you must book a day ahead, the driver was super friendly and knowledgeable as well. Plenty of English speaking staff
Very nice and spacious indoor and outdoor onsen. Walking distance to ski resort and cable car. Beautiful mountain view in winter. I remember three strong impressions
Amazing place to stay in Hakuba Happo area to snowboard. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view. Bathroom was a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary

Stayed at Reposer Hakuba in Nagano and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day
Since we did not find out the location until the week before email, we were too late to find any hire car available for the week. Relying on taxi's and Ubers was difficult as they are few and far between in Hakuba
We felt like a burden while emailing staff as they did not seem to want to help us navigate transportation or luggage transfer, when most tips online said to consult your hotel reception
Due to this location, we had a 30 minute walk to one shuttle bus and over a 45 minute walk to restaurants in Echoland, and the hotel provided no shuttle anywhere
In the end, while the accommodation was fine, the unhelpful staff left us unable to recommend a stay here
Many taxi companies did not even answer the phone so we asked the hotel if they could help us book

They have few tubs for onsen for both indoor and outdoor. They also have sauna room.
Excellent service and onsen that comes with after free flow of wine and sake at designated hours. Room is spacious and clean, csn pick up fresh towel daily. Breakfast is nice and more than what you could eat.
This time I stayed in the newly renovated new wing of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, beautiful and hygienic. The view outside the room was very beautiful. The staff were also very enthusiastic
Hakuba Ryujin Onsen was our favorite hotel during our two-week trip to Japan. It has a wonderful traditional Japanese feel paired beautifully with modern styling
Great place to stay . Family room for 5 was great. Staff awesome absolutely recommend to all.
There are 2 pools, 1 inside and 1 outside, 4 large baths (pots) for individuals and a space for 3 people to lay down in water, a resting area if the water gets to hot, a cold bath and sauna (men's section)

Dinner was very good, very delicious, but you have to rush with the time. Breakfast may be less than dinner but there is a lot. It is a hotel that maintains Japanese culture
I really like the hot springs here. You can soak in the hot springs while enjoying the beautiful scenery. There is also a shuttle bus to the ski resort
The only downside is that there are almost no restaurants and convenience stores around
I will stay here again next time I come to Baima Village!
Good place to stay for snowboarding in hakuba
The hotel's dinner is a buffet, with all-you-can-eat sashimi and sushi, and you can enjoy the snow-capped mountain scenery from the restaurant window. Hotel guests can soak in the open-air hot spring for free

As it was our first time went to a place with snow, we did not know that we had to wear googles to prevent snow blindness. Luckily, they had spare googles and lent them to each of us
She drove us to a place where my sons could play with the snow just beside a river and also she drove us the Happo One ski resort. She also arranged someone to pick us up and sent us back to the hotel
There are onsen, washing machines, drying machines, free ice creams and nice massage chairs as well. The hotel rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous
I had a wonderful stay in Hakuba Yamano Hotel. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. My son left his backpack in Shirakawago
Mr Keita helped us to call the tourist information centre in Shirakawago and made arrangement to send the backpack to our next hotel
All questions were answered on skiiing ways, and the food was lovely also

The best thing about this hotel is that it has their own onsen and you can go down as many times as you want, definitely a plus after a full day of skiing
Lovely hotel. The staff is very good. The breakfast and dinner is quite good. But if you rent a car, it is better to find dinner from other places.
Great location, good onsen and sauna. On the expensive side.
Great location and price
This hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was great, but I would rather eat dinner around the area. There are so many great options to eat out in the area
The service was great, and the room was very clean. Plus, there's a large public hot spring bath on the -1st floor!
The toilet roll is shockingly flimsy and cheap, disintegrating as soon as it comes into contact with anything remotely moist (although this may be common in Japan rather than a hotel specific issue)

Good location, very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms clean but not where you'd want to spend a great deal of time. Bathrooms very small but shower pressure and hot water wonderful
Very nice modern and minimalist hotel in the centre of Happo, a short walk from the bus terminal and the gondola. Good strong hot showers and excellent drying lockers for your snow gear
I believe it will be a lively place with bands and activities once skiing begins, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for first-class service during the winter months
The room was great though the basin being placed right beside the bed was a bit inconvenient. The shower room is quite compact but guests can use of the public spa
We really loved our stay at the Happo. We stayed for 13 nights and enjoyed the convenience of the location and the shuttle bus to various ski fields
We would have liked the sheets changed more frequently than every 4 days given the number of nights we stayed and the cost as well as a deeper clean of the room (we are by no means dirty)

I was very impressed!!!
The hotel is great, the staff are great and very kind. The location is also good, although it's a bit far from the station, but there's a shuttle service from the hotel
You can ask the staff to pick you up or drop you off. The hotel is beautiful and right next to the Hakuba Goryo Iimori ski resort, just 10 steps away! 😂😂😂

Great location. Very reasonable price. Thank you. I'll come back in the winter to ski. Thank you.
The room was comfortable, but the central air conditioning was a bit cold at night, and it was difficult to find staff at night. It's close to the ski resort, which is good.
The hotel is quite old and there is not much kind of food for breakfast. However, all of staff is helpful and the location is so close to ski resort.
The bed was very comfortable for me and my room was really cute i feel like Christmas 🎄

The hotel is located a bit further out of town (15m walk) but has a wonderful shuttle that goes out of their way to get you where you want. All the reception staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed
I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. I had a small accident, but the staff were amazing, they took me to the hospital and handled everything with care and professionalism. Their hospitality was outstanding
This place was great! It had incredible accommodations: shuttles, taxis, rentals. The front desk service was super friendly and super close to some amazing food. I had a great time and would recommend to anyone!
The Onsen (public hot bath) is the best way to relax after skiing. Ping pong, billiards, bar, parties, and free shuttles everywhere!!
THANK YOU!! ARRIGATO!! Can’t wait to come back here!
As a single occupancy traveler , I found this hotel great value and good size rooms. Lovely atmosphere and traditional family operated hotel. Friendly and super helpful staff

The location is absolutely amazing, 10/5, the views are incredible and, since it is off the road, you don't hear snow plows! You can also just walk out the door to go to Happo-one! This place is definitely worth it
Great Breakfast! About 7 minute walk (With ski equipment) to the chairlift. Rooms were nice. Good Stay
A good value option: nice location and appearance, parking available and hot springs, friendly staff, and convenient access to Hachihochi Pond.
That said, electrical is sketchy, Wi-Fi is bad, beds are a bit hard, and the restaurant is just ok, but the breakfast is fantastic. Well worth staying here despite any negatives
Every day, there were over ten bugs, each larger than a ¥500 coin, scurrying around the room!
On the walls, curtains, mattress, countertop, and even in my luggage!
I've stayed in over fifty hotels in Japan, and this is the only one I absolutely will not stay in again
I assumed there were no toothbrushes for environmental reasons, but there were no combs, shavers, or shower caps, but even the most basic cotton swabs?
Hot Springs: It's not an open-air bath at all, just on the terrace

We had a very pleasant stay at hotel oak forest. The rooms are quite big and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small but the shower is nice
The only recommendation I would make for this place is to maybe replace the carpet in the hallways and common area due to a bit of a smoky musty smell. And saying this our house was very clean
We actually really enjoyed this stay - it was one of the only resorts left in echoland with availability, but it exceeded our expectations
Rooms were huge, the shuttle bus stop was exactly in front of the door and the staff at the lobby were so so friendly :) yes the hotel it’s a bit old fashioned in style, but nevertheless we had a great ski trip here
The staff is very helpful even though they don't speak english very well. However with hands and some google translate we figured it out
The shuttle service to happo one ski area is good and always on time and they also have a shuttle service to spicy echoland ski rentals which is very convenient! You can even drop of your rental gear at the hotel and the rental shop will pick it up without you having to worry about bringing it back yourself

Hotel close to everything , restaurants all around. Shuttle takes you to the gondola to and from or you can walk. Happo bus stop is literally 3 mins walk to take shuttle to the other mountains
What a lovely traditional hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great onsen. Delightful, helpful staff. We loved the hotel
Breakfast was extensive with traditional Japanese options and also more western options depending on your tastes. About a 10 minute walk to the slopes, and located close to many cute restaurants in Happo Village
Of the many hotels that I've stayed at this has to have the friendliest and most caring staff I've ever witnessed. The rooms are fairly basic, but it's well located for food, drinks and transport to the slopes
Fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommend!
There is also hot spring available in the hotel which is hard to hard in the area After a long day of ski nothing beats a long soak in the hot spring. Breakfast is amazing , everyday you get served something different

The cooked breakfast every morning was amazing & we also dined in the restaurant a few nights when we couldn’t be bothered going out again. All our meals were delicious & the kids agree they made the best hot chocolates
The drying room was perfectly located and worked a treat, and the onsen was a lovely bonus. We were even lucky enough to have a private onsen one evening, which was an unforgettable experience
Everyone genuinely seemed to be having a great time, which made the stay even more special. We will definitely be back, assuming we can get a booking next time before it is fully booked out
The rooms were comfortable, warm, and quiet, and we slept like logs every night. There was also a fantastic atmosphere throughout the hotel, with a jovial vibe among both guests and staff
The daily mountain transfers were a huge highlight. We were dropped off every morning and picked up every afternoon at a time that suited us, which made ski days completely stress free
Being our first time to the snow it took all the worry away knowing they would drop us off in the morning & pick us up in the afternoon at the different surrounding ski resorts

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the water was too hot on the first day and we couldn't use the hot spring, but the next morning it was just the right temperature and we were able to enjoy a pleasant soak
It's close to Hakuba Happo-one and just a five-minute drive from Hakuba Iwatake, making it a great location for ski season. Because we stayed during the off-season, there weren't many other guests and it was quiet
If I have the opportunity to visit Hakuba again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. • The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the shared microwave and kitchen in the hallway were very convenient
The water pressure in the shower in the large communal bath was a bit of a concern, but other than that, I was satisfied. ◎
The buckwheat galette at breakfast was especially delicious!
• Towels and indoor wear were provided for free use, which was very helpful. • You can enjoy the view outside the window from the hot spring, allowing you to relax

The location to Habuka 47/Goryu is within walking distance of Escal Plaza (where night skiing takes place)
3. There is a small pub/bar just across the road. It's not too noisy, but it's there for a change of pace
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mont Blanc. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed to know about our stay in Hakuba from lift passes, to travel and other activities
They have a free shuttle during ski season that will take you up to the base if you don’t want to walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hakuba!
Stayed for 4 nights in a traditional style room. The pads were by far the thickest and comfiest I’ve had during my whole trip in Japan. The breakfast every morning was excellent and filling
The onsen facilities are simple but hit the spot after snowboarding. It is located just down the hill from the Goryu Escal Plaza base area, a 10 minute walk
Theres also daily scheduled free shuttle bus to Escal Plaza in the morning and 7-11 at night. We couldn't have asked for a better experience
