The location is great for access to the Sakka ski lift. Unfortunately we found the place is very run down. It felt more like a hostel. There was hair in the bath and a used toilet roll on our arrival to the room which showed me they don’t do thorough room cleans. Lovely hotel in the middle of Hakuba. Location is a little secluded and without a car, it takes some effort to get to the city or around. We were happy to stay and chill at the hotel though. Excellent and cozy hotel. However, the receptionist's service was a bit gruff, and my room was dirty. There were a lot of cookie crumbs under the beds, a lot of hair, and almost 20 ladybugs in the room, especially behind the curtains. The hotel offers fridge rental service, and during ski season, there's a free shuttle bus to major ski resorts, making transportation quite convenient. The rooms were spacious and connected, and the hotel was surrounded by autumn leaves and greenery, creating a lovely atmosphere when looking out the window. The parking lot was likely to be full, so a staff member offered to take us to a nearby tourist spot.

The hotel was built in an older era, so the facilities are not comparable to those of newer hotels. However, the sanitation condition is okay, the service is full marks, and the overall stay experience is still very good.

We actually really enjoyed this stay - it was one of the only resorts left in echoland with availability, but it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay in Villa G but were disappointed in the lack of clarity of the location of the villa. We read all the print of the booking but apparently missed text on a photo stating that the villas were located far away from the hotel. Reposer cabin cottage is a winter/summer house. There is a small natural stream right at the back, which is great. The cabin is a bit worn but it still has all it takes to provide a great accommodation. Location wise, you need a car in hakuba to move around anyway so the distance to anything is not to concern. There is a pick-up service to the ski resort, which needs to be booked in advance. It is very convenient. It can also pick up and drop off at the bus station and other places. The service is very good. Breakfast and bar drinks also need to be confirmed in advance.

The appearance of the hotel is very beautiful, which is one of the places that attracted me to book. The interior is very rural, simple and tidy. I highly recommend this hotel for skiing and mountaineering.

We loved our family stay at Meteor! They have a lovely eco friendly and sharing ethos and a very welcoming environment. Chika, Coco, Clara and all the staff made our stay so enjoyable. Dinner was very good, very delicious, but you have to rush with the time. Breakfast may be less than dinner but there is a lot. It is a hotel that maintains Japanese culture. The ingredients are local. It is not luxurious but warm.

There is a shuttle service. I really like the hot springs here. You can soak in the hot springs while enjoying the beautiful scenery. There is also a shuttle bus to the ski resort. The only downside is that there are almost no restaurants and convenience stores around. But there is a microwave.

Public bath broke down - hot water not hire enough .  This is winter . In the room , the hot water from the tap water is not hot enough . It takes a long time for the water to become hot .  Room is very cold

The walk to the lift station is a few hundred yards uphill and can be challenging in snow and ice. There is no housekeeping, let alone daily, again as claimed on some websites. You have to get clean towels at reception and the rooms are not cleaned...

Loved the private onsen. The ladies were so helpful and attentive in the hotel. We never ate dinner there as it’s a French restaurant and we wanted Japanese food. The breakfast was brought up to the room and consisted of fresh baked croissants and butter and jam and coffee. NOT a full breakfast.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at hotel hakuba. It was easy for us to access the neighbouring ski resorts using the free shuttle bus provided by the ski resorts. The breakfast had a good spread and an even better view. One negative feedback is that the beds in the double room is quite uncomfortable.

Very nice modern and minimalist hotel in the centre of Happo, a short walk from the bus terminal and the gondola. Good strong hot showers and excellent drying lockers for your snow gear. My husband and I just left the property yesterday after staying for 5 nights. Staff and service were very good - this includes the drivers that help send us to the ski slopes etc. Rooms were average size but my issue was there was no phone that you can call down to reception. My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. It was quiet and relaxing. It was the non-peak period and there were not many travelers, I felt like an exclusive guest. I learned that the town really comes alive in mid Dec when the winter ski season begin, and it seems to be a very vibrant place during that time. Second time here. Good location, very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms clean but not where you'd want to spend a great deal of time. Bathrooms very small but shower pressure and hot water wonderful. Wifi free but flaky.
