I have stayed at this hotel four times since 2012 and come for winter, both Christmas and Chinese New Year. The hotel is beautiful nestled in the forest

Facilities: The equipment is relatively old, but well maintained; Hygiene: It's OK, but I have a mysophobia, and some corners are still relatively dark after wiping with alcohol for a while; Environment: It should be said that it is good, located in the forest

The lobby is cozy with a fireplace for roasting marshmallows, the restaurant picturesqe with surround glass windows to watch the snow fall during dinner, the rooms are spacious, clean and lovely with deep plunge tubs for soaking at the end of the day

At the end of the day they again greet you at the door to welcome you and give you your warmed up shoes to change into. They help with securing dining reservations in town, and assist you with transportation to and from

The breakfast is a bit monotonous, but the combination is relatively healthy. The dinner is a good French meal. Although it is not at the Michelin level, it is worth the price in terms of service and environment

The Shadian building is full of European style. Upon arrival, a hotel attendant will introduce in detail the services provided by the hotel, and provide hot tea and snacks, which is full of ritual and warmth

As for the food, the breakfast in the morning only had American and Pancake sets to choose from, and the taste was average. For the Japanese food in the hotel that night, I ordered Shabu Shabu

The hotel thoughtfully sent a special car and luggage to the station for free. The service provided by the Japanese is worth learning from the service industry in Hong Kong

Our requests were all carefully accommodated, and our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and had a unique menu that you won't find anywhere else

The hotel was built in an older era, so the facilities are not comparable to those of newer hotels. However, the sanitation condition is okay, the service is full marks, and the overall stay experience is still very good

Since I couldn't catch the free shuttle bus to the ski resort, I returned to the hotel to pick up the luggage and take the highway bus back to Shinjuku

The hotel is located a bit further out of town (15m walk) but has a wonderful shuttle that goes out of their way to get you where you want. All the reception staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. I had a small accident, but the staff were amazing, they took me to the hospital and handled everything with care and professionalism. Their hospitality was outstanding

This place was great! It had incredible accommodations: shuttles, taxis, rentals. The front desk service was super friendly and super close to some amazing food. I had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

The Onsen (public hot bath) is the best way to relax after skiing. Ping pong, billiards, bar, parties, and free shuttles everywhere!! THANK YOU!! ARRIGATO!! Can’t wait to come back here!

As a single occupancy traveler , I found this hotel great value and good size rooms. Lovely atmosphere and traditional family operated hotel. Friendly and super helpful staff

Hotel Abest Happo Aldea

We stayed with an extended family group. The rooms were sweet & simple but very comfortable. The Lobby was a great place to mingle & make new friends whilst enjoying a local or western style meal or drink from the bar

The location of the hotel is about a 5-10min walk to the closest lift and there was a shuttle service for drop off and pick up. This was a very good service, we appreciated it very much and it was always on time

Hotel Abest is a three star hotel with five star service. We had stayed in three star hotels previously and knew what to expect in terms of comfort and amenities

The rooms are spacious, but no wardrobe, which was fine as the drying room took care of the ski gear and there was enough space in the rooms for everything else

The staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful. There were quite a few Australians employed and they were all so helpful, engaging and willing to help

Wadano Forest Hotel & Apartments

Other than emptying the rubbish bin, our room was not serviced in the 5 nights we were there. After 3 days I took our dirty cups down to reception and asked for clean ones, which they were unable or unwilling to provide

The hotel advertises a bar ‘on demand’ but the one night we asked about it we were offered beers from reception for cash instead. The wi-fi was patchy and the TV did not even have broadcast stations available

The transfers advertised are only available in the morning to the ski slopes before 10am, in the afternoon when the slopes close, and a short period for runs into the local town for dinner in the evening

The breakfast was plentiful if basic but ran out of some of the hot food items on several occasions. The breakfast room was in a separate building meaning a cold walk through the snow each morning

Eventually they reluctantly washed the cups for me. There was no complimentary tea or coffee in the rooms. We had brought our own tea bags but there weren’t even teaspoons for making hot drinks

The location in the forest was lovely, but transport was the biggest issue for us. It is a 30 minute walk on dark, icy roads to and from the main shops and restaurants

It is conveniently located at the bottom of the Sakka ski lifts, with plenty of shuttles available to take you to the other lifts and mountains. There are also a good range of food options around the apartments

so close to the easy Ski Fields, has its own ski hire shop and close to so many great restaurants (especially rabbit hole!) + the snow was so fantastic and pure powder! I would also like to call out the Hotel Manager - Tony who personally drove me into town to get a last-minute Christmas present for my son (which turned out to be fantastic

We had an amazing stay at Koharu Hotel! The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Sam Tahlia and Jesse

The hotel offers a 4:30PM trip to supermarket everyday, must book in advance. The staff were lovely and helpful, they speak good English too

The room was spacious with plenty of amenities to make you feel comfortable. The highlight were undoubtedly the staff

Located next to the Happo-one Lift Adam, about a 15-minute walk from the Happo-one bus terminal, the location is excellent. There are also free shuttle buses from other ski resorts nearby

2021/05/03 It was a small pension. Even though it was spring skiing, it was still cold at night and dawn, and it was a little cold, so I requested floor heating and asked for it

There are also plenty of ski shops and restaurants, making it worth staying again

A friendly owner with a soft demeanor, he was healed just by talking (^-^) /

Pension Kazamidori

The underfloor heating was wonderfully warm!!! Because it's located below Donguri Village, we felt safe even on snowy days. (We had snow tires and a 4WD kei car. ) On days with heavy snow, chains might be necessary

Our family (all adults) stayed from December 30th, 2019 to January 1st, 2020. The ceiling is low due to the roof's slope, but it was just the right size for three people

The owner and his wife were very nice, and we had a wonderful trip. This time we booked a room-only stay, but next time we'd like to book one with meals included

The tiled bath was the same size as the one at my parents' house, but it was deep and I was able to warm up slowly! Although it is an old-fashioned pension, the floor heating is comfortable and it is well maintained! There are only a few power outlets, so some ingenuity is required

This pension felt like home, and I felt at home♪ Since I was only staying overnight, I didn't get to talk to the owner in depth, but he was a very nice person! I was able to use the bath even though I was only staying overnight, which was helpful

Perhaps people who imagined it as a "hotel" gave it a low rating? The price was reasonable, it was warm and neat, and I would definitely like to return
