At Hotel Mumon everything is well arranged. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and comfy beds. The onsen was also great after a day on the slopes (or just in general!). Location also perfect close to the town restaurants & slopes.

Such a sweet place to stay, very old school decor and super cosy. Very close to restaurants and cafes, a couple of ski fields are only 10 mins away. Staff are lovely and super helpful.

Located about a 10-minute walk from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, the inn is small but beautiful. The lobby on the first floor has a retro feel that blends Japanese and European styles. I regret not having dinner there this time. The staff were very friendly, and the room was quite large for one person. Although it had a vintage feel, it was clean overall. We happened to be there during a heavy snowfall, and the view from the window was quite beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay alone.

Stayed 7 nights, amazing staff so friendly and helpful, good food (breakfast and dinner), bar, communal area. Walking distance to Akakura Onsen and Kanko ski resorts.

One of the best gelande hotels I've ever stayed in. The share space with a real fireplace ambiance is just perfect. The smell of the wood is so cozy and luxury at the same time.
We stayed in the cheapest rooms, which were very usual. Unfortunately the heating wasn't turned on by the time of arrival, so it was pretty cold. Some of the rooms also didn't have windows. But there was hot water and tea + some snacks served. Very nice if your consider the price and the quality in general.
Onsen had a stunning view window as well.

The staff nice and very welcoming. The lounge has a cool retro feel and the food is hearty and really hits the spot.
Location is a bit off the main road, snuggled in the mountains but not too far from the ski fields.
