A rather dated hotel but very good location and excellent service from the staff. The clean tatami-style rooms are comfortable and has ample space.
Located right next to the Ichinose Family Ski Area and local instructors are available for ski and snowboarding classes.

This hotel exceeded our expectations; it was fantastic. The room we booked, which included dinner, was quite good. Since we stayed at another hotel before switching to this one, the comparison and experience were quite significant.
Facilities: Very good, and the management is also excellent.
Cleanliness: Clean.
Environment: Super close to the ski resort, right across from the cable car, and there's even a rest area and reading area.
Service: Very welcoming.

Hotel is very old. Rooms are basic. Shared bathroom is also crowded.

This hotel is right on the slopes! Make sure to book your ski rentals in advance, as you can't rent them on the spot without a reservation. Once reserved, they'll deliver your gear to the hotel's basement, which is super convenient. You can change in the drying room, store your belongings, and have your ski equipment looked after. Renting for a day lets you enjoy both night skiing and a full day on the slopes. The trails are varied and a lot of fun!

I booked a Japanese-style room and got a soft pillow from the front desk. I had to go to the public bath to take a shower. Breakfast and dinner were both self-service. I could rent ski equipment downstairs. The storage of ski equipment was free but a deposit was required and it could be returned. The bus stop was nearby and there were many places to eat around. The service attitude of the front desk was very good.

Rooms are a little dated and small as per most Japanese hotels.
The location is awesome and only surpassed by the staff in reception. They are amazing and go out of their way to help you.
Breakfast is substantial without be flash, you won't leave hungry.
There is an awesome little "Mexican" restaurant downstairs past the shop.

Sending a glowing review to honor staff member Iori. He went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I (Americans) who are visiting Japan for the very first time and have so many questions. Iori helped us both on and off the clock and was so kind and helpful.
About the hotel: wonderful location, great amenities. Very quiet area as well. Would absolutely visit again for my next Japan snowboarding trip. Not to mention the snow here is otherworldly. The best snow conditions I have and likely will ever see.
